ActionScript3 is a very forgiving language and Adobe has good documentation not to mention the countless number of tutorials one can find online. My team at work has experimented with the &#8220;Adobe Gaming SDK&#8221; (Starling framework, and others) and found it easy to set up and surprisingly powerful. Another nice point is that AIR builds to Win, Mac, iOS, and Android.
