My game needs more game.

Alright, I’m at a point where I can procedurally a star system in which gravitational interactions are calculated and carried out. I call it “10 Parsecs”.

What you may notice from this description is that it’s not a game yet, but a simulation. I need to fit a game in to this thing or I have nothing.

This is why I turn to you, comrades. I was thinking about something like “Elite” for the BBC Micro, but I’m lukewarm about this idea at best. Please share with me your ideas on where to go from here.

an elite style game sounds pretty good, mostly random recourse and demands truout your solar system not to forget the random pirate ship

Love the switchup to saying 10 arcseconds to 10 parsecs. The simulation idea could be an elegant contrast to the other games this compo. Or it could be something where the player flies through the system and only has 10 seconds to interact with it before going into another

Time plays a huge part in velocity and force and various other things that make up the physics of solar systems.

So I dunno

maybe something like that?
