In case the astonishingly slow rate of development for that game isn’t clear, I’ve been very busy!

But this weekend I have some time, and I’m looking forward to participating again! This is going to get interesting, because I have a somewhat fancy affair to be at on Saturday night, so I’ll probably spend the day programming in a suit. If nothing else, it’ll feel very professional.

I’ll be working with this stuff:

Engine: Game Maker Studio with GML. I haven’t used GM since version 7, but I’ve been itching to give my free copy a spin and it’s always been great for quick prototyping!
Graphics: Paint Shop Pro 7, which I brought in a time capsule from the year 2000.
Sounds: BFXR! I’ve used SFXR a lot in the past, but I want to try working with its bigger cousin.
Music: If I have time, PXTone. If I have even more time, REAPER with either the Synth1 VST or VOPM VST. Either way it’s going to be very synth-y.

Good luck to everyone!

April 23rd, 2014 3:07 pm
Time to do this again!"}
