Ludum Dare 29! Oh yeah! It was my first (and not last) ludum dare.<br \/>\n I created a puzzle game known as IO, The games mechanics were to shoot the<br \/>\n red tank, by reflecting the bullets of of mirrors, igniting bombs, blowing up<br \/>\n bricks and using portals. Original I had hoped to create ALOT more content,<br \/>\n But for 72 hours (Of which I porbably only worked 13) I was proud of myself.<br \/>\n I created a basic click n&#8217; place system for the mirrors and a very pixel style<br \/>\n for the game, of which Star made the graphics.<\/p>\n <p>What went well :<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>I finished the game!<\/li>\n <li>I created (some) challenging levels!<\/li>\n <li>Used a Portal (Valve Game) refrence\/element!<\/li>\n <li>Found a good soundtrack!<\/li>\n <li>Used trusty ol&#8217; sfxr!<\/li>\n <li>Created a readmeplzineedtoberead.txt I was proud of!<\/li>\n <li>LAMPS!<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>What did not go well :<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>I did not create the many other puzzle elements I had designed<\/li>\n <li>Made a cruddy meny\/you won screen<\/li>\n <li>Failed to create many levels<\/li>\n <li>Failed to crate more than 2 challenging levels<\/li>\n <li>Spelling errors<\/li>\n <li>My game did not relate enough to the theme<\/li>\n <li>My time lapse died out D:<\/li>\n <li>BUGS!<\/li>\n <li>Bombs not removable once placed<\/li>\n <li>Unremovable elements&#8230; removable (pre-placed portals)<\/li>\n <li>2 entry, 1 exit portal failure (which then ruined the difficulty of level 15)<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>But after this journey, I gained a game, To cherish, love and polish at my will.
