I have to say my first Ludum Dare has been pretty incredible!

What blew me away the most was how nice everyone is! There were multiple people who couldn’t play my game, decided to take the time to look into the problem, and then commented or e-mailed me how to fix it. I mean, that’s crazy how much effort some folks put into just trying to play my game! They could have easily just rated it N/A and then moved on to the other ~2,500 or so games. Heck, they could have spent that time rating games and raising their coolness!

Honestly, thank you to all the LD people who spend time fixing problems in other peoples’ games or who take the time to give meaningful comments and constructive criticism! The vibe here is just awesome!

Also, now that results are out, I’m pretty blown away with how my first game did! I really liked the LD theme, but I never would have expected to win a medal for it!

I can’t wait ’til August, I’ll definitely be there! 😀
