Preparing for LD30

Hey!

For LD30, I will be programming in Java. I still am working on mastery, and have not yet memorized certain things, like audio, and some graphical things. This is why I am creating a game engine of sorts. Something to make audio, graphics, and input easy and flexible to use. I will upload it somewhere, create some documentation, and make another post so you guys can download and use it.

My name for it right now is Yamanu. Other ideas are greatly appreciated!

You should consider using LibGdx. It’s a library for Java that makes it so much easier to make games. It has graphics, audio and input support. I think it’s better to use it than to make it yourself.

or you could use my library. its got *most* things squared off, and will soon future a tile engine and improved input. other then that it currently has great customization (size, scale , fullscreen ect).
