We’ve all played a Metroidvania game or two, right (Excluding Metroid and/or Castlevania)? Well, the format is always the same. You have a giant castle, dungeon, cave, whatever… and it’s all laid out in a nice, 2D way, with you, the player, traversing through rooms, having so much… choice.

Well, in our yet-untitled expedition into the genre, the rooms are laid out in a 3D way, allowing you to jump between slices as they cycle through endlessly like a deck of cards. It will (literally) add a new dimension to the genre.
