None of them\u00a0came close to the power of Three.js.<\/p>\n <p>I&#8217;m hoping I&#8217;ll be able to make an actual 3D game this time, but because I haven&#8217;t used Blender in over five years, it&#8217;ll probably be mostly cubes, spheres and octahedrons. (Mmm, octahedrons.) But with\u00a0fog and DoF and god rays and all the other bells and whistles that Three.js offers, I bet I can make it look good.<\/p>\n <p>Complete tool suite:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><a href=\"http:\/\/typescriptlang.org\/\">Typescript<\/a>. Seeing compile errors as soon as you save the file will be a huge time saver.<\/li>\n <li><a href=\"http:\/\/threejs.org\/\">Three.js<\/a>, as mentioned.<\/li>\n <li><a href=\"http:\/\/goldfirestudios.com\/blog\/104\/howler.js-Modern-Web-Audio-Javascript-Library\">Howler.js<\/a>\u00a0for playing sound effects. Or I might use a Three.js plugin for 3D audio.<\/li>\n <li><a href=\"http:\/\/jfxr.frozenfractal.com\/\">jfxr<\/a> for creating sound effects. Or I might yell\/burp\/fart into a microphone.<\/li>\n <li><a href=\"https:\/\/inkscape.org\/\">Inkscape<\/a> for vector graphics, if I want them.<\/li>\n <li><a href=\"https:\/\/krita.org\/\">Krita<\/a> for artsy\u00a0graphics, if I want them.
