DEJA VU ?!

Maybe, maybe, letting the keynoter suggest 10 themes for the participants to vote on would be better than proposing, slaughtering then selecting each time the exact same themes over and over ?

Yeah. I hate the current theme selection process. Honestly, the process I would like to see is the keynoter picks 10 or so interesting and different themes, then rolls a d10 to randomly select the theme from those immediately before it is announced. 😛

It makes Ludum Dare more interesting, as people have a part in deciding the theme. The high user interaction is the reason LD became so big – it would be stupid to get rid of that.
