My Tech stack: - Game Engine: Game Maker Studio 2024 - Art : Asperite - Sfx : Bfxr - Music : Beepbox

In my ludum dare history i did most of the Games with Unity - but since 2 LDJams i moved away from Unity and made one in GoDot (before i tried with Defold) and one with Game Maker. Game Maker works currently best for me so i might stick for that.

Besides that some tips from an old veteran jammer: - Setup your template project now: this is btw. for compo totally ok if you have a base project with your code base. Saves you a lot of time. - Try to make the gameplay first..something that i also never did :D - Think about your time shedule and how much time you can invest realistic - Strip features if needed - seperate your todo list with "things that are required" and "nice2have" stuff
