Why? Firstly because I managed to participate and submit a game on time in the jam category. Secondly because I managed to have a demo that I really want to continue and finish. It's difficult for me to decide which project to continue, because I usually do several projects. But the jam allows us to create with a small enough scope to finally finish something. Whether it is commercial is another matter.
But, it's a great way to get people to play your game, to receive feedback and understand if in some way you're doing something cool, if it's worth continuing or not. I also understood better about the voting and scoring system, something I hadn't quite understood, although I thought I did. I thought that the more my game was voted on, the greater the chances would be, but no, just the average number of votes it received, 20 is enough. That's very fair. Anyway, I got what I wanted, having a project to finish, and hearing some people say how cool it would be to continue with this project. That was worth everything to me. And of course, learning a lot from the feedback and all the games I played. Each game of these winners taught something valuable in each category. / Now the next phase is to update my project as soon as possible and notify everyone who reviewed it and would like to see an update. It's good to have something to focus on.
