{"author_name":"RaysAndLazors","cat":"LD #32","comments":[],"epoch":1429311360,"likes":2,"metadata":{"p_key":"20377","p_author":"RaysAndLazors","p_authorkey":"35779","p_urlkey":"55713","p_title":"Premortem aka \u201cI\u2019m in\u201d","p_cat":"LD #32","p_event":"LD32","p_time":"1429311360","p_likes":"2","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"35779","us_name":"RaysAndLazors","us_username":"raysandlazors","event_start":"1429228800","event_key":"27","event_name":"LD32"},"text":"<p>With less than 2 hours left till the theme announcement, it might be a good moment to post the classic &#8220;I&#8217;m in&#8221;.<br \/>\n Due to logistic issues I won&#8217;t be able to enter the Jam with my buddy this time, so instead I&#8217;ll have another go at the Compo, and try to finish the game this time.<br \/>\n The goal for this edition is:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Finish the game &#8211; this has to be a complete &#8220;product&#8221;.<\/li>\n <li>Aim for as simple execution of the theme as possible.<\/li>\n <li>Interact with the community more &#8211; more blog posts, more comments, more game testing, maybe I&#8217;ll even jump on the IRC<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>As for the &#8220;tools&#8221; part that everyone adds religiously to their posts&#8230; My plan A involves using Unity5, although it is entirely possible that I will come up with something simpler and use Phaser, Flixel or something totally new and different. All depends on the theme &#8211; and looking at the list, I&#8217;ll be happy with pretty much any of those. The rest of tools will likely consist of GIMP\/Inkscape\/Blender\/LMMS\/SFXR and anything else that resides in my Toolbox folder, should a need for that come up.<\/p>\n <p>The whiteboard is clear. Music is flowing. Emergency sweets just within the reach.<br \/>\n Moral Support Moose is on his post.
