So, I've been playing some games here and must say I'm quite surprised at how many people go out of their way to share their game over a different platform. It's the same for HTML embedded and downloads. Lot's of people put the game on itch so you can download the files there or play it in the browser. And i've seen some sharing it on other servers, downloads from github, aws etc. I understand sharing additional links like that, but why do so many people use it as their main method of distributing their game?

It just seems weird not to use the features this side offers (Downloads and HTML embeds)

Or am i completely of the rails and play the minority of games that aren't hosted here? :joy:
