Thank you for playing LabSlime!
We're very grateful for all those who gave us feedback, ratings and comments on our game, especially those who enjoyed the game. It helps us to keep mindful of future work that we develop. This gamejam is a great learning experience for us, and me in particular; being my first proper jam. It taught me a lot about the development cycle and how it feels to direct and finish a game firsthand- The gamejam has made me understand just how much more I need to learn as a game developer. There was a lot of stress near the end but ultimately, it turned out well and I like to believe that people overall appreciate the game, which made me feel rather proud for my first attempt at this with Vatx. As to express our gratitude to all who enjoyed our game so far:
We decided to make a patch to Lab Slime, which improves a lot of elements of the game based on the suggestions and criticisms from the players who commented on it. This patch is NOT to be used on the judgement of our game as it was not made within the Ludum Dare time limit. The patch is made to be enjoyed by anyone who liked the original release of our game and just wanted a few things changed about it.
You can find the patched version as "1.1" on the Itch.io link on our page. We hope this patch solves all problems you feel it may have suffered from and play it as something to enjoy casually beyond the gamejam.
