Is it worth it?
I’ve participated in (and successfully completed) 3 Ludum Dares so far, and I’d really like to join again next weekend. The problem is, this time of year is incredibly busy for me, and I have to be away for all of Saturday. Do you think it’s worth trying to throw together a quick game on Sunday, or will whatever I make be so sloppy and unimpressive that it would be better to just skip this one?

Do the jam in two days. That should work.

My most successful LD entry was made in one day, after I abandoned my initial idea. So you can certainly compo in one day!

I’ve done it before, made the came in only 8 hours… really didn’t go well; if you’re curious check out my LD30 entry which is the one I’m on about. I had only been coding for about 10 months at that poin, but my God was it awful.
