I also had a lot of issues in knowing what to focus on first. One of my biggest difficulties is how to handle my order of choices into what do I need to get done first or in which order of assets (Ex: Programming first, then Songs, then Art, then..) is the best option.\n\nShould I make the basic mechanic, then go straight to create the Sprites,Title Card and Songs for the game? \nOr should I just implement all the game mechanics, make sure that they are working and only implement the other stuff (Audio, Art, Shader, etc) later?\n\n\nFor these reasons, I would love to know more about what are the best practices for developing a game in a short period of time from other people and also what are their\/your recommended tips and tricks that helps, or helped them\/your along their process.
