First Ludum Dare

Hey, I'm a rather new game developer and I've decided to work on my first Ludum Dare Gamejam with my artist. We were hoping to show our work in development; we decided to make a concept that has both elements I'm familiar with (which I admit is rather limiting) and wouldn't risk missing the deadline. So far we are making good progress in my opinion with most elements of the game working as intended thus far.

Our game is about a slime that must reach the end of a maze, following the path perfectly whilst being observed by scientist. You have a time limit of 10 seconds to reach the end, failing to do so or falling off the path will result in immediate failure. The tiles will increase in both quantity and variety, though time will not. Thus far we have considered adding time bonuses when the levels are too long but I am unsure as to whether that will stray too far away from the theme or not.unknown[1].pngunknown[1].png
