Hey all!

It's pretty crazy to think Ludum Dare was starting just 6 weeks ago. Since the week-end we made Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate it proceeded to become wildly popular, then win Ludum Dare Jam with 1st place overall, 1st place for Fun and 2nd place for Innovation, then it became our biggest success on Itch io with the first post-jam version, and now we're releasing the Steam version with even more content, French and Spanish translations, and even mod support.

It's been 6 very busy weeks!!

In case you missed it, Shotgun King is Chess, except you replace your entire army with a royal shotgun.

You can still see the jam page for it here, the jam version can be downloaded alongside the updated demo and the full game on our Itch page, and you can now buy it on Steam!

Ludum Dare has been the launching pad for this game, we couldn't be more grateful for this awesome community of developers celebrating game-making twice a year! Thank you all so much for helping us propel Shotgun King into the stratosphere!
