Anyone good at mathematics?

I know some of you have degrees in Computer Science and have therefore taken advanced Mathematics. Hopefully one of you can help me solve this review problem.

Divide (3x^3+2x-10) by (x-4).

I want to figure it out before I start playing and rating other people’s games.

I got (3x^3-2)/(x-4)+2

I don’t think x-4 is a factor of 3x^3+2x-10

I could be wrong, but I got 3x^2+12x+50, with a remainder of 190. (it multiplies out to 3x^2+2x-200)
