So this was my first Ludum Dare. I was about half-way through and I got ill, so unfortunately I couldn't finish. Now I would like to at least rate some of the games, but under Rating it says "Sorry! At this time, only participants are able to rate games.", which in my opinion is kinda dumb. It makes sense why only participants would be able to rate games, but if I had known about that I could have just submitted what I had(a half-finished game) and be able to rate games, and so can anyone. I understand that not having that restriction would mean that people could use bots or something to rate their own games highly, but what does it matter since there are no rewards. I would appreciate if someone can explain to me why this rule exists.
