I'll hopefully be participating in LD42, and making...something or another in Unity, probably.\n\nI tried using Unreal in LD41, and while the results were gorgeous (and basically an all-around better recreation of a game I'd made over the course of months in Unity), I don't think I'm skilled enough to gamejam with it yet.  Having more fun using it for architectural visualization and such (yay for open-house RPGs!  :p) - though UV-mapping houses will be the death of me.\n\nAnyways, tools for LD42:\n\n * Unity 5 (technically 2018.something for Linux - damn their new versioning system, I'll never remember this bullhonk >_>)\n * Blender (2.78 custom-rolled in Linux)\n * GIMP 2.8 (standard apt-get version in Linux)\n * Audacity (version unknown, just whatever's available from the xubuntu 16.04 software app)\n * Caustic 3 (running in WINE 2.7, 32-bit wineprefix, acquired via PlayOnLinux)\n * Inkscape (unlikely to see use, version unknown)\n * XUbuntu 16.04 - Linux support is mandatory now.
