Shoot food at that customer faces
LD41 experience
This is mine and @Felipe-Guimaraes 's third LD JAM. This time we made up our mind on what to make really quickly and used our second idea (after an failed paper prototype). Of course we runned against the clock until the last minute and it's not so polished as we hoped for, but it's still a completelly functioning game.
Felipe really wanted to make an 3D game and I mustered the courage to agree. It was my first time modelling for a game and I struggled for hours from Blender to Godot just trying to make textures work. But I came out of it really motivated to improve both in art (must finish that Blender course!) and game making.
He focused in programming and me in the art, since he has way more experience than me and I knew a bit of Blender and Photoshop.
It was our first complete game in Godot 3.0 and besides still learning the engine end it's language (GDScript), we finished in time and consider it a successful entry.
Our take on the theme
It's a restaurant game, in which you have to serve customers according with their orders, but you accomplish it through shooter mechanics.
Very Realistic Waiter Simulator
You have bills to play like everyone else. So you are stuck in this waiter job being surrounded by customers that seem frindly at the start, but get restless with every ticking second. Some of them more than others!
So you had the idea of simplifying your job by shooting their order directly on their faces! And you know what is best? They don't mind it at all, unless you hit them with the wrong meal. And then they get REALLY angry!

I wanted to finish this by quoting a Suzanne Menzel Song, This is Not Your Life (sorry, you probably won't find it on the internet).
So you're standing in that old shop
Selling meals to customers with an open smile
All you want is to kick them out
Oh you want it so, but
All you have is to keep on ~~smiling~~ shooting
Otherwise you'll have to go
