Growing Up A Monster by Chunck26
Players move around this simple world and are treated as a monster from the creatures around them. Life seems treat the player harshly... Can they find a friend?
FYI: This is my first time participating in Ludum Dare! Also, this is my first game I have finished. It's not much, but it's the most I've ever finished in a weekend game development wise. I'll look for any tips, just nothing harsh. It is my first game. I am still learning screen sizes and resolutions. Yes, I know this game is broken with it's resolution.
I used a windows machine with unity. I think I've got all the needed links included...
Thanks everyone!

The controls were not very good and the collisions were a bit clunky. It was difficult to navigate around the level. I was also not sure what the objective of the game was and game play wise it did not seem like a lot was there. It seems like a reasonable start but it needs some game play mechanics added.
Yes the controls are terrible. This is my first 2D game ever. And I would have loved to spend more time on collision detection and game play. It's just a simple game following a short story...
About the game: Solid first entry, welcome to the LD community! The music is outstanding, very fitting and well recorded, loved it. Controls and collision is a bit wonky but fine. Only thing I can't wrap my head around it why your little game is 140 megs!
Suggestion: When you have a slow scroll up like on the credits, it's really hard to read the quotes because they appear from the last line to the first, very unusual. Also, the jumping still worked there.
Very good way tp see the theme!
Good Job! :D
