This is my first time ever making a "full" game and participating in Ludum Dare 🙂

“Don't wake him up” is a fun, top-down stealth game where you break into a house under the cover of night. Your goal? Grab as much loot as you can before time runs out. But there’s a catch — someone’s asleep inside, and their depth of sleep is your only protection. Make too much noise or take too long, and you’ll wake them. Plan your moves, stay quiet, and escape before the alarm goes off!

How to play:

  • Grab objects my dragging them with the mouse and move them inside the van
  • Try not to be too loud
  • Try to make it in time before the alarm goes off at 07:30 am
  • Take off as soon as you're done to avoid getting busted

Very fun, and I love the concept! I stole the TVs first of course. My high score was 3690.

Very nicely executed idea! Love the graphics and the eye for detail.
Really can see the potential for more levels with this game idea!

Very fun and cool concept! Would be awesome if there were more levels with each one getting bigger with tighter corridors

Really nice game! It reminded me of that mission in GTA: San Andreas where you have to steal weaponry from a general—loved that vibe. Great use of the theme too. Excellent work overall!
One small note: I was a bit confused at first by the look of the carpets—they had the same contrast as other elements, so at first, I mistook them for obstacles.

Good game! Creative take on the theme, and nice art for the different screens  Scored 2960 the second time, first try i was to slow of a thief to get away.

What an amazing idea and a clever use of the theme! I could see this being a mobile game with many different levels and layouts. Amazing job for a first game!

Nicely made game! Very polished considering the time limit. Enjoyed the few goes I had on it. Main bit of feedback: there's not enough visual feedback when hitting a wall. I was playing with audio off initially and couldn't work out why I kept failing. I think some of the collision detection is a little off too - depending on where you click certain objects you seem to be essentially guaranteed to hit a wall immediately.

Really solid game jam entry, I don't think I've ever seen a game quite like this (though I can see by the comments one existed before.) Really enjoyed trying to plan the order to do things in, especially considering the time limit and needing to clear paths for larger items.

I got 3960 on my second attempt. I noticed a trick. You can stack objects and then they stay together? Nice touch. Not too useful with the tight doors though.

Great concept, and you tuned the difficulty just right. Had a lot of fun retrying until I was able to steal everything at 7:27am. Really good main menu art here, by the way!

Very fun! I like the theme of depth as in sleep. I played a few times and after my last attempt noticed that items can stack, love it!

Surprisingly fun!

You seem to be able to clip items into the wall via the side of the doorway.

Cool concept, really messed up my first attempt in a classic hubris filled "well, this looks pretty easy!" Subsequent attempts were a bit more measured

Simple, but fun and well realized idea. The only thing I'd maybe add, would be that if you hovered over an object, it would show its value - so that you could easily check which items are worth the effort.

Really nice and fun game! Tried multiple times to see how much money I could make before he woke up.
