"Commander, today is the day. After years of research, experimentation and construction the submarine is ready. This submarine will take you to the unknowns of the world: the bottom of the ocean. Will you help humanity achieve this milestone?"

In Pressure Depths you must reach the bottom of the ocean. This will not be easy! You will need to fix, correct or calibrate things in order to keep moving. If you make mistakes, or are too slow you will cause hull breaches. Too many breaches will cause the ship to explode, losing the game.

When things need fixing an alert will show. Get there as fast as possible!

Pressure of the Depths is a puzzle game in which you must keep a submarine operational to reach the bottom of the ocean. Can you help mankind to this achievement?

Move around with wasd + space to jump. Interact with E.

You can play the game on itch.io!

All assets are made by ourselves, only the ambient background sound and the alarm are royalty free assets.

We strongly advise to play with sound on!

A stressful fix all the tasks type game, the puzzles are fun to complete and there's a nice variety

Love the "Hull integrity restored" audio

Only thing I would add is making it more obvious when you're about to lose (maybe I missed it)

The game is fun, more likely to be a hardcore one, haha! Anyway, I like it! What I changed to this game is the main character, for me this is too static for a person. Overall, nice game!

Interesting, the tasks remind of among us kindof. Some more polish would be nice, but some potential there!

I didn't expect the minigames. Felt a bit like a mix between jumpnrun and among us.

I liked the audio messages. They added nicely to the mood. To improve maybe a very soft music or 'depth'sounds would be nice.

I enjoyed played and made it to the bottom! (after 3 tries…)

This felt like a wet 3-ring circus - lots of running around doing different things. I was surprised by the level of effort with the different many games, and each one felt thematic and unique. The water filtration one didn't seem quite realistic, as my solution often would have hemorrhaged water out of an uncapped T or 4-way branch. The overall game became a little tedious once I figure out the extent of what I was supposed to be doing, and I had a hard time surviving for more than a few minutes. Overall, it was a complete core game loop and it felt like a game -nice work.

Were there any other minigames planned that didn't make the final cut?

@defrag thanks for the feedback! Lotus of ideas were cut indeed, because we ran out of time:

We wanted to add that you needed to connect to more ending for the water puzzle (would give the T and 4 way sections more sense)

We wanted to add 2 more puzzles:
Fight a threat in which a large undersea monster would come into view. You would need to throw a harpoen at it too kill.

Second puzzle was calibrating the reactor rods in which you needed to position vertical rode in such a way that it would allow a straight line to pass through.

If only time didnt go so fast!

I love seeing people with the same idea but a completely different execution! I enjoyed the variety of minigames to keep the submarine in tact.

This is a nice concept and I had a lot of fun with it. Also a nice take on the theme. I would have liked an indication of which location needs to be visited first. I would have liked to see more minigames like the pipes, which I think has the best replay value.

Cool little stressful management game. I did happen across a bug where if you retry the game and re-enable tutorials the heading tutorial does not reappear. I had to refresh the page to look at the tutorial again because I didn't realize I had to press the arrow keys rather than WASD. I would have liked for the interface to become unlocked as soon as a task is completed so you can get to the other tasks as soon as possible, but otherwise it was a fun little game full of minigames!

It took so many tries to beat the game the air pressure one kept making me lose because it takes so long, but I like that! It was fun running around and every time you thought you were safe you were actual about to get 10 haul breaches XD Great game top 3 games of this LD Please work on this post LD

I like these sort of games! Reminds me a bit of Among Us with the minigames. I think the difficulty was tuned just a bit too hard at the beginning, it would have been nice if it eased into it at the start. But once you figure things out, its pretty fun (and stressful!) to play. Great job! I loved the voice acting haha

Positively stress inducing, although perhaps a little too irritating with the onslaught of voice messages layered one atop of another. The featured mini-games are rather basic, but the variety that they come in easily make up for it, not to mention the welding one having multiple variants. Impressive!

While the graphics aren't anything to write home about, they are endearing in their own right. I found myself looking back to the player character a lot for comical relief whenever things were starting to get too heated for me.

I really like the lore explanation for starting the game over after a victory too. It's nice that you managed to find the time to put a little bit of personality into the text pop-ups. My favourite detail must be the way in which the background changes depending on the depth you're at. That, *and* the "Down" movie poster. Charming stuff!

The game is very fun to play. The Amoung Us like mini games are really interesting. I wish there were some more different types of them but I understand you had to make it in 3 days lol. I would suggest taking this further and polishing up stuff, add in a few more mini games. Another way to expand would be to have more submarine types with their own mini games.

I enjoyed the variety of mini games. It's usually more fun to play these kind of games with some teamwork, but it works as a race against the clock too.

My only criticism is that it's a little bit annoying to wait for a second after a mini-game is complete. I'm kind of in a rush! 😁

Great and fairly easy to understand mechanics though it gets really challenging really fast and of few times I tried I could sadly not get lower 7K.

Submarine is designed in a fine detail!

Well done!

Great work, difficult but entertaining! One interesting thing I noticed is that adjusting the volume on the scrolling wheel on my headset made the character move back and forth. No other issues though!

Haha this is very similar to what we wanted our game to be when we started out, but shifted goals as we went along. I think the only issue would be tweaking the timing of everything, but that comes with testing and who has time for testing in a jam lol
