[raw]
made by Lee1121 for LD33 (JAM)
You are an evil overlord who has been imprisoned for 2 days.
The imps are already boring you, so you've decided to escape.

Kill all the pesky guards and escape, so no one can stop you from petting all the undead kittens!

========================THE GAME========================

This game is based on Dungeon Keeper and your objective is to kill all the guards.
Guards, being lazy, will not move towards you when you've discovered them, but your orcs will automatically move towards them.

Every imp costs 10 gold to recruit.
Every orc costs 50 gold to recruit.
The barracks costs 300 gold to construct.
Every gold deposit will give you 10 gold.
All the guards are stationed near a gold deposit.

========================CONTROLS========================

- WASD: Camera movement
- Scroll wheel: Zoom camera in and out
- Escape: Deselect what you have selected

Everything else is mouse-driven

Good implementation of the well known theme. What I miss is:
-Sounds (Try bfxr)
-Music
-Some indication in game what the costs of the orcs/imps/barracs are.
-Some kind of challenge. Is it possible to loose?

It's an okay game but I'm a bit disapointed that it's just a clone of the Dungeon Keeper game.
We don't have so many things to do and that's a little problem. Just 1 or 2 minutes playing and I was already bored :(

I didn't had any sound, is that normal ? That's a problem to have a game without sound :(

Hey, you got a lot done for the jam so that's pretty good! I've made strategy games for jams before so I know just how much work they are :)

P.S. OS X version works fine.

An impressive strategy game for such a short time period.
