About

You are a team of dwarfs setting up a forge near the newly discovered underground ruins. Craft and supply explorers with various equipment or else your forge will be overrun with monsters from the depths!

How to play

Use various crafting stations around the map to craft items that are requested by the explorers, deliver those items to appropriate counter to finish the order. Complete as many orders as you can to upgrade your forge or compete for highscore! Fail to deliver enough orders in time and you will lose!

The Game is either Singleplayer or local Co-op. Get more hands for easier game, we didn't implement player count difficulty scaling!

Gameplay

Different stations have different recipes available to them. You need to figure out which station can produce which recipe.

You can use nearby tables as storage places if you run out of time for an order and don't want to destroy a particular piece of equipment.

You can also use a garbage bin to dispose of any item in case there's too much stuff lying around.

There are two stations:

  • Crafting bench
  • Anvil

The visuals are great, but it's not clear what to do, even after reading the description. The game mechanics are enjoyable, then remind me of Overcooked.

You have to craft the items that are ordered (top right) and deliver them to handoff stations/tables which have the same order indicated, the stations in the first level are in bottom left of the crafting area. A tutorial level would have been nice to do but we ran out of time

ChatGPT created a great cover art - really stands out from other games. The game itself is cool, and I'm glad there's a web version. Though while browsing games, I kept seeing Godot so often... is Unity not popular anymore?)

Could use a tutorial, I wasn't able to really figure out what to do. I tried bringing ingredients over to the forge based on the picture, but nothing seemed to happen?

Pretty interesting game, reminded me of overcooked. I understood the general direction of the game, but mechanics and goals took a bit of time to figure out (understandable for a jam game). Graphics are pretty good, I feel like this could be made into a full game. I guess my critique is lack of tutorial, but again - jam game.

A game with great potential but the crafting is so advanced I had no idea how to even make a hood. Graphics are amazing however. Everything seems so involved which is amazing but at the cost of not knowing what to do. With jams sometimes simple is better. Also I don't see how this fits the theme "depths" unless the insane amount of complexity has "depth" or something, but that is such a grey area. Finally, your thumbnail is obviously AI generated which may drive people away from your game, which is strange that you took that route since your game has good art, it shouldn't be much trouble. I always think you should try to make your own thumbnails for projects, that's just me...

I was able to get a high score in the third level, though I see there is not really an end to the orders as it did not stop once I got 15 and beyond. I do like the increasing difficulty at each stage, as having more recipes to consider puts more pressure on memorizing more. Playing it single player it was easy to see it would be impossible to get all orders done, even speed gassing around quicker, so there was a trade-off system happening where I would ignore double orders in favor of singles. I probably only beat the game with all the single leather hood orders I got.
I did have fun playing and learning how to make each item! Besides having a tutorial to teach each aspect, an icon for the two crafting stations to make them more obvious at first would be a good detail to include. Good work!

Definitely needs a tutorial, way too hard to play solo i feel. A bit disconnected from the theme, and I don't really condone using AI art. But other than that, the game feels great to play, definitely has potential, bit sad I didn't have a friend on hand to try multiplayer. Good job.

It's a great idea. I really liked the artwork and the forging process.
Tell me, did it take a lot of time and effort to create the multiplayer architecture during the jam? Was the effort worth it?

Did not take that long really since it's local. You just have to handle several input devices and assign them to player instances. From there it's the same as a single player game.

small ingame tutorial might help to get started easier (like, go here first, then ..)

Ok so this is some kind of overcooked on a medieval setting, and instead of food you're delivering weapons and armor.

I liked the game, but it was kinda hard to understand what I had to do. First of all I had some troubles starting the tutorial, because I thought player 1 was the one on the left, and it just left me on a white screen, I think I started with player 2 and no player 1.

After I learned the basics I jumped into the first level. I finally understood how to play, it was kinda hard but managed to complete it! The thing I found frustrating is that there are so many places where you can put items, it can get a little confusing, you have so many little windows everywhere. The other thing I didn't enjoy is the placement of things, in most of these games where you can build a base, you usually put things together so you don't have to travel so much to do simple tasks.
The timers for each request are very short, which make the game very unnerving, you're always in a rush. Maybe it should be a little more relaxing on the first levels and have little progression until it gets harder on higher levels!

Anyways, I know how things go, specially with such short times for development!
Good game tho! Lots of potential for making it way better!
