Dungeon Chef by Clare_Chan1738
Hello! I am submitting my 2nd ever Ludum Dare game for the 57th edition Compo!
In this game, you are playing as a prisoner in the depths of a dungeon of which she is trying to escape from. In order to do this, you must create potions to serve to customers. There are currently 4 possible endings (of which portray the depths of despair she experiences) to achieve and hopefully you enjoy!
P.S. I am not an artist but I try. :)
CONTROLS: - Left Click & Drag Items To The Pot - Click The Book In The Bottom Right Corner To Check Recipes - (Optional) Left Click During Dialogue To Skip Animation

The dialog in the beginning really sounds like a bunch of pesky mosquitoes xD
Having a challenge mode where you need to remember the recipes would be nice though!
Otherwise, good game, the different voice/text sound pitches were a nice touch.
And yeah, I wish there was a way to replenish ingredients somehow. Maybe like how those shop sim games you buy ingredients at the end of the day with the money you made, or people give you more ingredients as you make them their potions. Obviously a bit of a stretch for a compo game, but just a thought.
Sometimes i thought i got the potion right, but got an error sound and impossible potion requests in the end.
* speech audio was too loud for me
* at some point I got stuck and could only click on the book, not ingredients
Good job finishing. Pretty relaxing game.
Cool concept though, can see a lot of work went into making the recipe book!
Great job for a first game!

I liked the different stories the customers were telling.
I think the main font was kind of hard to read. Gray on gray with a small white outline just doesn't do it. I had to fullscreen the game in order to see. I would probably make the font totally white instead or black, whichever feels better and has good contrast.
The speech sounds were very loud, I would tone them down or provide audio settings for players.
Nice job.
