Thank you for checking out my game! I followed the compo rules, but I didn't have the time to submit within the compo deadline.

Dive into the depths. Find items along the way to help you defeat enemies. Be careful, there's something lurking deep within the depths. Can you escape if you awaken it?

Thanks everyone for checking out my game! I pushed myself a bit on this one by trying to do some animations which I typically ignore for game jams. Here's a list of things I'd like to expand on if I were to take this game further:
* Level variety
* Music
* More enemies
* General polish

I wasn't able to polish things as much as I would like, so you can find some weird glitches. Sometimes enemies may pin you against the wall, or they'll get launched super high if you hit them with a rock. It's all part of the fun of doing a game jam!

Thanks again for checking my game out. I look forward to everyone's feedback, and I'll do my best to play and rate everyone's game!

Surprisingly this game made me laught. I love sound effects =) Also some of the aliens catch me and i stuck :D

Your sound effects are legendary bro. Really not much too the game-play though, feels like there should be some more variety in the platform placement or maybe environmental obstacles.

Man, its a good game! I like how hard it is for the first time. For the second time I understand that enemies easier to ignore ^_^

Boss - it is epic! My favourite! And of course - audio! Its beautiful! I realy like than it recorded in live voice, personally do this by myself too!

You are amazing ^_^

hey, nice submission! the sound effects caught me off guard at the start hahah but I really like em. like you mentioned, it's easy to get pinned by the enemies - maybe disabling colliders during jumps or something could be a simple fix. background also spawns a little bit too late when moving downwards I think. didn't find myself needing to jump very much. solid submission regardless, I like the animations!

Nice sounds and thanks for game! :)

I would like to aim by mouse and move backwards, not it creates a difficult and i am not sure, is last enemy mortal? I make a thousand shoots I think.

Interesting game! The enemy pinned me on my head once, but I beat it the second time I played it!

@mr-kvinter That's right, the final enemy (the big Demon) is immortal. You can slow it down, but you can't kill it! Thanks for your feedback and checking out my game!

@blue-pin-studio the boss is immortal, and the intention is to escape back to the top. I realize now that that wasn’t super clear! Thanks for the feedback!

Took me a couple of tries to escape my new pal at the bottom.

The sound is gold, just immediately smacked a smile on my face that never left. Whether out of desperation or a conscious artistic choice, grabbing your mic and makin' whatever noise you can beats dead silence any day.

Into the Depths has as many enemy types as power ups and does some fun things with them, from the age old throw-rock-at-dude-he-go-ow to a delicate ballet with a flying enemy and a pistol. It doesn't overstay its welcome, and in its short time on screen feels complete, the "yay" at the end absolutely knocked me out of my chair.

The sound effects are awesome lol. One thing I noticed right away is that its easier to just run away from the creatures than it is to fight them. The boss did catch me off guard though and it was a pleasant surprise. I got cock blocked by a creature though when I was jetpacking through one of the holes :(

Simple but fun concept. Them two yellow enemies pinned me to the wall, had to spam them with the pistol LOL. Good job!

Audio gets a big plus, loved the "yay" at the end! :laughing: Surprisingly well balanced, I was sure I wouldn't be able to escape, but it was in fact doable, albeit barely. Great entry!

The sounds made me giggle! Every time I trew a stone or a enemy moans it's incredibly funny. I couldn't for the life of me see my bullets, so this made things a lot harder, but it was still a fun experience!

Audio is indeed great haha! I ended up skipping the knife because I was doing better with the projectiles. Despite you mentioning it in the description of the game, dummy me tried to kill the boss and a few minutes later I realized I had to escape from it lol :dizzy_face:. The jetpack controls were great btw.

Short but fun game, good job!

Having different weapons per layer is a nice idea and have their own complementary enemies. The visuals are clear, making them unique and distinctive from one another. Also, the yellow ones pinned my character down at one of my runs while flying up from the boss (x. x)

Fun game! great job with the sounds hahahah. the escape sequence was intense! the melee weapon didn't seem to work though. The game getting darker the deeper you get is also a nice touch!

Very funny game, especially funny sounds!) I missed the character highlighting from the moment you pick up the gun, it becomes very dark and you can't see where you're shooting, it felt like the shots were flying somewhere past, I thought they were aimed at the cursor. In my opinion, it was necessary to work a little with the effects. But overall a good and funny game, thanks and good luck!)

this game idea is so COOL!!!!I love flying up when I reached the bottom,that gives me a really different experience,can not reach the top,because the boss is to fast,some times the enemy will stock me on the wall~~~

This was a cool game with a simple core mechanic and a nice twist at the end. I was like "oh look at me I did it" and then I saw the big red blob and was like NOOOO NO I DIDN'T! Nice work with a variety of weapons and enemies, too. I loved how the enemies got stuck between two rocks I threw at them, lol.
