What a lovely puzzle platformer, the art style is great, but I could not find the D I S C O M B O B U L A T O R on the first floor.

Very pretty game! Why did you opt-out Graphics category? I really like your art.

Fun little puzzle platformer. Liked the humor in some of the sections like the personality test lol. After beating the game, I actually restarted to try level 1 again and see if there was anything was hidden, but didn't find anything! argh lol

Nice work!

Not gonna lie, you got me with those holographic spikes! Good game, well done!

@kiv Artist here! I had us opt out of the art category as while I did do some of the work from scratch, I also edited and used some public domain and creative commons pixel art.

@villeloso Thanks for playing! I think we all are still looking for that D I S C O M B O B U L A T O R ... (that is the end of our game- if we had more time to flesh out levels it would be incorporated)

@i-pots Sorry you couldn't figure out how to play it- you should be able to run it here or in itch.io. If you have trouble with the controls, they are in the description. Game loop is a fun lil platformer beyond that.

@pro4 I'm glad you liked the humor! @bluephoenix266 (Andrew) was the one who came up with the personality test. We initially planned on adding some interactable/hidden items but ran out of time- maybe next go around.

DAN GER well that sure is an interesting name for a hole I wonder what's at the bottom... Well there's an arrow pointing to the bottom so that must mean that I have to go down... Nope It's just spikes. Really good game in every sense, art, music and gameplay the whole thing !!!!

Cute platformer. Not too hard but not too easy either. Nice work exploring the space with the different elements. Like someone else said, the holographic spikes were a nice touch, as was the personality test. Great entry for a weekend!

Really cute entry! :) I loved the overall vibe. The level of the personality test really made me laugh quite a bit! XD The controls feel quite good, I missed a little bit more of coyote time, but since the levels are not super hard this didn't affected much anyway. Having a button to die is also quite interesting as a mechanic also XD even though I didnt get to use it for more than just fun. But overall i really liked your game! The writing is clever, the bossa nova sounding on the background is really funny, the art is super cute and it feels good to play!

Keep up the good work!

The progression and atmosphere in this jam is actually perfect. The music has that corporate elevator vibe and the personality test after getting used to the feel of the game fit so well. The holographic spikes actually made me think, oh yeah, the previous exposition of "don't freak out" actually means something in the context of the world I'm experiencing. I would absolutely love to see how this game progresses if completed. Just think of the possible lower levels that could be explored/experienced with the assets to match. The only low point of the game is the ending. I am so curious about where this elevator goes and the experiment in general.

Random extra thought: I felt like I was Kenny from Southpark dying in an orange coat a few times. XD Seriously awesome entry.

I do not always finish LD entries I rate, but this one I really liked and I'd like to see what happened with the DISCOMBOBULATOR test! Awesome entry, the interactive scenes were great. I liked the pacing and the difficulty - actually every aspect is quite polished, and the humor is what made my day. Great entry, thanks!

Thanks for making the platformer not too hard! I died a few times in the fire level but never felt frustrated with it. As others have said, I liked the holo-spikes mechanic, as well as the intercom at the start of levels to introduce/hint at new mechanics. Very well thought out and executed.

Great polish ! The game is really fun, sound design is clean and music isn't annoying even if it's quite repetitive, the pixelart is gorgeous. Level design is fun, i'd like to see more !

Really well done! I liked that it was complete and the level of polish was very high: the elevator animation and the ticking sound during the countdown stood out to me

Overall good game! Didn't really struggle with the platforming but only died once due to the spikes or the player having quite large hit boxes but overall wasn't a huge issue. Enjoyed the small puzzle platforming challenges.

It crashed when I was told to get the discombabulator and entered the elevator again :frowning: But I really enjoyed my time up until then!

it's a thankless job, but someone's got to do it. Loved the chill vibe and elevator music despite all the safety violations. Great humor and solid platforming, would have liked more timed puzzles or twists on the keycode/personality test idea. Awesome work!

A nice little puzzle platformer. It's rather on the easy side (especially compared to mine). The instructions are nicely spaced to not become overwhelming. Those hidden passages behind fake spikes got me stuck for a few moments.
