Pretty fun game to play, though a bit dull sometimes. But that can be fixed with some graphics and stuff I guess. Thanks for the game!

A really fun rockfall/mining type game and quite lengthy too, nice work! Enjoyed the bombs and shotgun weapon.

Great job! Bombing, shooting and jumping feels really smooth. Sometimes I wished there is smth that prevents me from playing it safe (like that scary spelunky-ghost thing or just timer). But I enjoyed playing regardless :D

Controlls are not working well for me. Can't reliable switch between weapons. But still was a lot of fun to play. And you even created multiple levels!

Threw a bomb at an enemy, it noticed me and walked towards me, pushing the bomb closer to me. The bomb blew up and I died. 10/10

Very impressive! Super minimal in presentation but unexpectedly deep in the execution. The controls were a little confusing at first but once I figured out the hit boxes and how switching weapons was meant to work, it clicked. The bomb is extremely satisfying to use The audio is great too - the effects are simple but spot on, and the music really sets the mood well (although the little bap in audio keeping it from seamlessly repeating due to how mp3s work always makes me die inside a little bit).
Job very well done!

Chill and fun, that was a nice 10 minutes i'd say !
I love the facts that bomb randomly drop sometimes, it is unpredictable but it's kinda fun when everything explode !

I was confused at first because the health and the enemy seem to share the same art? (a red box). I was thinking i was supposed to collect them and not sure why they seemed to be hurting me.
Fun once I figured it out though!

This was simple and fun, I enjoyed all the little things and the different digging tools, the minesweeper-like hidden objects and the half life2-like exploding objects launching other exploding objects into you was chaotic lol. Nice game!

Satisfying to play, and good thought out level design. Could be a great mobile game too!
What could add some more motivation to keep on going through the different levels are perhaps some new mechanics that involve the player to use their current arsenal in combination with a new function.
But other than that I see your passion in making it feel good.

Keep it up!

Very cool and engaging gameplay loop. I loved how the weapons had dual utility for both mining and combat. Blowing up a huge section of wall and being rewarded with a shower of coins was a great time.

The game itself plays perfectly fine, controls are snappy, everything works as it should, but I feel like the coins dont really serve a purpose except from making you play "more" of the level. Most of the times you have the coins you need to reach the next area anyway. Also, the weapons really only matter when there is a bunch of enemies and even those you can usually avoid with carefully planning your way with the pickaxe, unless you get hit by these invisible bombs. dont get me wrong, i think this has some potential, but i think the game is a little boring if you can just stay behind the walls and never really need to interact with the enemies. i still enjoyed my playthrough, loved throwing the bombs around and causing some chaos.

Good idea and it works well. Wish the level design was more oriented towards a specific situation sometimes instead of always allowing to avoid everything and play it safe, but it still was fun overall :)

I didn't expect that, but I think you can get stuck like so:
![stuck1.png](///raw/d51/2/z/6bab0.png)
Obviously I was to blame here, not thinking about the coins - and I could finish myself with the bomb, but had I not have them, I think there was no way for me to progress or reset, right?

There are quite a lot of features in the game - pretty impressive. I can see that the art is quite minimalist, but the animations are quite good and the game is enjoyable. The audio doesn't get repetitive as well. Great entry, thanks!

I appreciate the gameplay loop and the three weapons/digging devices that the player has access to. I felt like the core loop and mechanics were your primary focus, and I think that was a great call because there was more than one or two levels where I was able to explore the mechanics and enjoy blowing things up. The character and enemies being simple shapes did not bother me that much because I was enjoying the game itself. Of course adding character and enemy graphics and making the enemies a bit more intelligent would improve the experience even more, but that is more of a post-jam activity. This was quite fun, and I hope you keep working on it.

Wow, I really like the game! Congrats for the graphics, I like it (simplistic, but nice, even the particles are good). Another good point is that you made different weapons, but it was better for me to swap these by scrolling (like in Minecraft). Overall, it's my favorite game in this event so far! Great job!!

You've done an excellent job, and the result is really good! The music fits well with the game, although it's a bit short, and the looping is quite noticeable – the musical track could have been longer.

The presence of a save system was a pleasant surprise! It's very convenient; I was able to return to the game after work and continue from the same place without starting over. Even if it's not necessary for a game jam, such a feature definitely improves the gaming experience.

The tutorial is implemented very well and informatively, without unnecessary details.

There's a lack of visual or audio feedback when taking damage from enemies – health loss doesn't feel impactful enough. Perhaps placing a health indicator directly above the player would provide better vis
ibility.

The sound effects are generally good, but some of them stand out from the overall picture. There's a noticeable imbalance between the background music and the shooting/enemy hit sounds. However, the jumping, falling, and coin collection sounds blend in harmoniously.

When breaking blocks, there's a lack of visual and audio "juiciness." Since this is a core gameplay element, more impactful destruction could make the process more satisfying and motivate the player to break blocks for the sake of the process itself, not just for collecting coins.

The pickaxe is overpowered compared to other tools. After accumulating enough coins, there's no need to use other tools. It would be more interesting if there were blocks in the game that could only be destroyed by a specific type of tool.

The monster-spawning blocks evoke negative emotions as their appearance is impossible to predict. It would be better to mark such blocks with special indicators, as is done with other game objects.

The game was definitely created by true professionals and handsome sexy fellows. It's a shame I don't know them personally.

Solid concept. Reminds me of old flash games in a good way.

The three different types of tools felt like they made sense.

Enemies spawning from mining was a bit unexpected.

I didn't realize that you could walljump. Having some tutorializing of that could be good as it helped make navigating a lot easier.

Good variety of different levels. Adding more types of enemies could help push it even further.

Neat little game. I think the level designs could maybe have been a little more involved. The difficulty also just wasn't very high - enemies die quickly and you get to choose when you're ready to approach them. Overall, though, an enjoyable experience.

Sleek game, with some simple mechanics that play off each other pretty well. Also the level of polish on this bundled with the minimalist style is really appealing. I did think that it was a bit easy to side step the enemies by just grabbing all the coins and then beelining it for the end thanks to the easy availibility of bombs and shotgun ammo. It picked up a bit at the end though and it was really nice to control to boot :)

This game is **really interesting**, in the best possible way. It seemed unlosable at first, gained some difficulty over a few levels but still remained kinda easy. But that is actually the best possible difficulty for this game. The **mining is SO SATISFYING!!** THE BOMBS, THE SHOTGUN, EVEN THE PICKAXE!!! The **coin physics** and **sounds** was also **on point**. The **movement feels so damn good**. Although it's "just" blocks, everything makes sense just by using simple colors, which makes it a really minimalist and simple **genius game**.

Nice entry! Seems like you had a goal for a few levels of a mining action platformer and achieved it! I know you only had to get 6 coins to get through level 1, which happened to be the exact number of blocks needed to dig through to get to the exit. However I noticed that I got 1 coin for each block and immediately started mining as many blocks as I possibly could. I ended up with about 250 coins before finally deciding to head to the door. I was a bit disappointed to then find that it just rest with a new counter for the next level. I think maybe you could rework this as a core mechanic if you're going for the idea of greed and having to pay for the exit. For example maybe each level has some sort of threat that means you need to complete the level in X amount of time while getting as many coins as possible. And with that maybe some sort of count at the end of the game with how many total coins you managed to collect by the end.
On another note, what you do have is pretty fun to try and get through. My favorite were the bombs trying the blast my way directly to the exit as fast as I could. I did notice sometimes the enemies didn't notice me? Also I was a bit confused on when sometimes enemies and bombs would spawn out of rocks with seemingly no way to tell if they would.
Your movement of the character feels great and I like the overall design and look. Good job!

What a fun game! Here's some feedback:

- It was not clear to me that the red squares were enemies at first. When I touched the triangle I was instantly dead so I was like "ok, triangles avoid, squares friends??" Later I found out that those are enemies too
- Somehow I kept using the scrollwheel to switch weapons, maybe that is a sign that it is a bit more intuitive to add an option for scrolwheel controls to switch weapons
- The music is much too calm for the gameplay, I was expecting some epic metalcore to keep me company while I blow up the entire level
- The graphics are well done and the coins feel satisfying

Cool game! When I saw the gif on the homepage it looked like it would be easy, but it's actually quite tough. You really need to strategize when to use what tool. The graphics are minimal, but they work. Great job!

One of the more fun games around here. I love the destructible environment. Also, having a choice of weapons makes the game much more interesting. I could use a bit of variety in the graphics (e.g. with the enemies), but this is no big deal. Overall, a solid entry.

Really liked the mechanics here, but felt it was a little too short to fully explore it's potential. Never really felt limited on resources since it was so generous with them. That said, it was really satisfying chaining explosions to blow up massive amounts of tiles. Would have been nice to have a little more variety to the music too, but it worked well enough. Pretty fun overall.

I really like the way you give option to the player, it's fun and not too stressing, always fun to have chain explosions and shoot everything with the shotfun. I really like the shakes and particle reactions, the coins makes this game super satisfying. I feel like with a bit better movement, like the jump feels a bit too short, or the running feels a bit too stale, you would end up with something a bit more dynamic in situations with enemies while keeping the chill vibe of looking where to go. Sick entry !

Pretty cool game. I liked the weapons provided as well as the challenges posed. I think the difficulty progression through the levels was pretty smooth. The sounds effects are also very cool and well placed, I liked the enemy sounds heheh. As others have said, it's not intuitive from the get go that the squares and triangles are enemies, though you find out quick enough!

A fun little game with simple mechanics but with nice, increasingly difficult levels. Really well designed. The art was simple but effective, the mechanics were smooth. The sound effects and music were good, too. I liked how the background was a thrumming kind of beat with light melody on top--so simple, and it felt really right. Great work!
