Job very well done!
I love the facts that bomb randomly drop sometimes, it is unpredictable but it's kinda fun when everything explode !
Fun once I figured it out though!
What could add some more motivation to keep on going through the different levels are perhaps some new mechanics that involve the player to use their current arsenal in combination with a new function.
But other than that I see your passion in making it feel good.
Keep it up!
Really cool game, congrats :v:

Obviously I was to blame here, not thinking about the coins - and I could finish myself with the bomb, but had I not have them, I think there was no way for me to progress or reset, right?
There are quite a lot of features in the game - pretty impressive. I can see that the art is quite minimalist, but the animations are quite good and the game is enjoyable. The audio doesn't get repetitive as well. Great entry, thanks!
the exit button is not useful in the web version :)
Great game! (And the bomb throw is very satisfying)
The presence of a save system was a pleasant surprise! It's very convenient; I was able to return to the game after work and continue from the same place without starting over. Even if it's not necessary for a game jam, such a feature definitely improves the gaming experience.
The tutorial is implemented very well and informatively, without unnecessary details.
There's a lack of visual or audio feedback when taking damage from enemies – health loss doesn't feel impactful enough. Perhaps placing a health indicator directly above the player would provide better vis
ibility.
The sound effects are generally good, but some of them stand out from the overall picture. There's a noticeable imbalance between the background music and the shooting/enemy hit sounds. However, the jumping, falling, and coin collection sounds blend in harmoniously.
When breaking blocks, there's a lack of visual and audio "juiciness." Since this is a core gameplay element, more impactful destruction could make the process more satisfying and motivate the player to break blocks for the sake of the process itself, not just for collecting coins.
The pickaxe is overpowered compared to other tools. After accumulating enough coins, there's no need to use other tools. It would be more interesting if there were blocks in the game that could only be destroyed by a specific type of tool.
The monster-spawning blocks evoke negative emotions as their appearance is impossible to predict. It would be better to mark such blocks with special indicators, as is done with other game objects.
The game was definitely created by true professionals and handsome sexy fellows. It's a shame I don't know them personally.
The three different types of tools felt like they made sense.
Enemies spawning from mining was a bit unexpected.
I didn't realize that you could walljump. Having some tutorializing of that could be good as it helped make navigating a lot easier.
Good variety of different levels. Adding more types of enemies could help push it even further.
Incredible game!
On another note, what you do have is pretty fun to try and get through. My favorite were the bombs trying the blast my way directly to the exit as fast as I could. I did notice sometimes the enemies didn't notice me? Also I was a bit confused on when sometimes enemies and bombs would spawn out of rocks with seemingly no way to tell if they would.
Your movement of the character feels great and I like the overall design and look. Good job!
- It was not clear to me that the red squares were enemies at first. When I touched the triangle I was instantly dead so I was like "ok, triangles avoid, squares friends??" Later I found out that those are enemies too
- Somehow I kept using the scrollwheel to switch weapons, maybe that is a sign that it is a bit more intuitive to add an option for scrolwheel controls to switch weapons
- The music is much too calm for the gameplay, I was expecting some epic metalcore to keep me company while I blow up the entire level
- The graphics are well done and the coins feel satisfying
Nice action game!
