You control a sentient USB stick with the unique ability to fly. After being cast away into your owner's concerningly deep basement for fear of your contents, you must use your unique ability to fly to your freedom and exact your revenge - by plugging yourself into your owner's PC!

Be careful, however; the way out of the basement is full of narrow passages and sharp, spiky turns! Not only must you avoid bumping into obstacles to prevent dying, you must also keep an eye out on your fuel gauge; lose all your fuel, and it's game over!

Luckily, there's several recharging pods (which recharge your fuel completely) and batteries (which give you extra HP) scattered all about the basement! Make sure to use them to your advantage in order to keep yourself fit and flying!

Will you be able to fly your way to freedom? Or will you remain trapped in the depths of the computer scrapheap forevermore? Play and find out!

Controls: A/Left Arrow: Turn left D/Right Arrow: Turn right Space/W/Up: Fly!

Really interesting concept!

I couldnt get past the first stage, controls are super hard. Make it a bit easier, I would love to play it more!

Pretty dang hard controls. Also bumped you don't actually respawn at the latest checkpoint (which I had assumed were the charging points?) Overall fun idea though!

The Checkpoint is when you pass from one level to the next, 2 Checkpoints.
Hehe, but yeah we made it hard, but once you get used to it the first level is pretty quick to power through. So need to get the key to open the passage. And as soon as you enter the next layer you're respawning there.
Appreciate the feedback!

checkpoints don't seem to work for me? Otherwise, the game is right on the edge of hard and fun. Good work!

This is such a cute game with an interesting concept! A little bit difficult but once you get the hang of it you can quickly make it through. Great job!

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I uploaded a small patch addressing some of your points. Notably:
* You now have a 60% higher starting fuel
* You are now knocked back less when hitting walls (I meant to do this before publishing but forgot)
* Certain health pickups give more now
* Checkpoints are now labelled with text

Thanks for the feedback!

Tried adding a web build for ease of access, but the web build breaks lighting sadly, so hopefully the video playthrough will be a better impression preview of what the game is.

- Removed the light under the first key so its not mistaken as a checkpoint

Hey!
I get a "file not found" error when I click either of the download links

@benski hey man, sorry to hear the download is causing you issues - oddly it seems to be working fine on my end. I've thrown up an itch version in case it works from there instead.

I tested with a couple others as well, and the link seems to work fine for all of them.
Weird issue, but I have too noticed the download not working on other projects too, so can be a temporary issue with the site.

I had a lot of fun with this! Controles were delightfully frustrating, rather enjoyed the challenge here.

I think I found a bug while using the spacebar, where a direction I was pressing would get "stuck" and I would start spinning that direction. Switched to using "up" instead and it was much easier!

Visually it is very beautiful and it was well programmed. The problem is the difficulty of controlling it, maybe that is the objective but that made me play it only about 3 times.

It seems like an interesting concept. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play. For some reason, the game crashed at startup.

The game is great — I honestly didn’t expect to see any games with a computer-related theme. The gameplay is unusual and felt a bit difficult to me, since even the slightest touch with a wall takes away HP. But overall, it’s a cool game with a unique concept! Good job!

I really enjoyed the graphics for this, the visuals really look very polished and shippable. And the music was very fun and fit the gameplay style. But the game itself was too frustrating and unforgiving. I made it all the way to the end of the mirror level and was very conservative with my fuel. I picked up every single key, and ran out of fuel in the blue line section even though I got a fresh batch of fuel before heading in. When I restarted and saw that none of my keys were saved, I just couldn't bear to replay ALL of that again :'( I think there should have been a fuel station near the top of the mirror level, or there shouldn't have been any transistors blocking the shaft heading to the top.

@jag yeah I'm realizing in hindsight that I made many portions of it way too brutal on the player - level 3 in particular. Removing the transistors would be a pretty easy fix.

Admittedly, as devs, I think it's easy for us to put blinders on and forget the advantage that knowing everything's layout gives you. Were we to take this further, we'd definitely be more careful of that.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

The concept is pretty cool but hardcore for me !
The sensibility make it very hard and when you touch a wall is really hard to be okay again;
