super cute art, and lovely atmosphere!! the little blue particles made it really pretty!! its kinda difficult at the start and i died a lot but once i got the hang of it it was super fun. I couldn't figure out how to use the web but it was cool shooting it around anyways! also the unity file just being called "HELL" took me out lolll

The game really felt super difficult. The spike flying upward at the beggining of the game really killed me a lot of time. And the controls are not super clear. It took me a moment to understand that I could jump more than once and I still haven't figured out what I can do with the web ?

But still, when I could move after the flying spike I did enjoy the game !

Lol that one spike is a huge troll. Idk why I kept forgetting about it. Well designed level, smart approach, and it looked great! I'm not entirely sure how to use the web, but the visuals of it were neat, I'm curious how you accomplished that!

@cursewurm LMAOOOO still can’t believe anyone noticed the fact the file is hell im dead LMAO (suppose to be made somethin like hell then forgot to change since it ended so differently) the webs were supposed to used to block the spikes and hang around the wall to make it easier but too many bugs in the code🥺😭Will definitely improve on that! thank you so much for the compliment and feedback! @kerdelos Understandable! Real sorry for your bad experience with the keys and difficulties! The webs were supposed to grabbed the walls and block the spikes but ended up with bugs and errors so it’s pretty useless at this point😭 Thank you so much with the feedbacks! Will definitely improve! @floppynub Thank you for your feedbacks and the comment on that spike lol! The webs we had a tough time completing and coding, it was meant to grabbed walls and block spikes to make the game easier but didn’t really work out>.< I’m really glad you liked the visuals though! For character animations and scene art we used Resprite and for platforms we drew a few tile pixel art of the platform and then setting up the level block by block using the tilemap adding the layer on top of the scene! We try to keep this part simple! (Might be the matching colors that made it look neat!) ❤️

I really wanted to play this game, but I was unable to get the game to load :(. I'm on a Mac, so maybe that's the issue? I really liked the cute pixel art spider!

Cute art style and music, i'm not sure what the abilities do really at the begginging so I think the intro could be easier. Otherwise nice start :)

Nice visuales. The spier is super cute. Took me a while to get that I can jump multiple times and I still don't get what the web does. I think you should make the spike collider a little bit smaller, it would make the player feel better. Anyways, pretty fun game, good job!

Really sweet cute game, web mechanic is pretty fun to explore. My only complaint is that spike colliders seem a bit wider than its graphics, so I died a bunch without noticing I touched them.

Fun idea! Unfortunately, as others pointed out, the collision boxes for both the spider and the spikes are too big which makes it too easy to die in place where you visually should be able to go through! Also I am not sure how you are supposed to make the first jump (on the first moving platform) if the infinite jumping mechanic isn't meant to be a thing ^^

I understand you lacked time to properly finish up some mechanics (such as the web), but congrats on making the deadline anyway!

I didn't know spiders could fly. Or is that just an infinite jump glitch? The web doesn't seem to actually do anything. Spike collision detection is way to sensitive too.
The game is fun even with these glitches. Or maybe because of them. The spider looks really cute.

@linky439 Thank you for commenting! The collision box indeed needs to be fixed! When I first tested the first jump on the moving platform without the infinity jump(lol)you can make it with the right timing. But if its more fun with the infinity jump I think it's a good ability to keep!

ffuuunn fun gam, it was p hard but nott in an anoyning way,, and it was supre qute!! im enjoyed explring the diff routes round th lil maze --- i cn imagine lil collectibles in diff hidden challenge spots liuke that in a fuller release or smthing~

The embed doesn't seem to work for me. I had the same issue, disabling caching and changing compression format seemed to help.

It's also worth noting that the spikes have a very large collision, which reacts to the player when he doesn't even touch their visual display

When I saw that flying spike I was like "ohhh... so that's how it is" lol. I definitely agree with the above commenter that the spike hitboxes are absurd esp. with how big the player is. The web being able to block the spikes probably could've come in clutch if not for the bugs (the ones that aren't the spider harhar). Idk if the infinite jumping was intentional, but I liked it. Also, you can enable interpolation in Unity for smoother movement without having to increase the physics update rate. It's noticeable if you jump really high and let yourself fall down (at least, on a high refresh monitor, not sure how it looks at 60Hz).
