I like the artwork and the controls are pretty smooth too.
There were some cool concepts on display from what I was able to play though! :) Impressive work especially for a very first jam game!

I played the web version and jumping in/out of the big drill was a bit janky. Maybe it would be good to have the player drilling downward with input. So while in drill, press s do go down. I think that would fix some of mine issues. I wanted to refill the cooling and all of a sudden the drill just went. And when it stopped it got quite overwhelmed with the timer, so it was hard to keep track of life, cooling buying upgrades etc. I guess that might ruin the enemy balancing, but maybe they could spawn every once in a while when the big drill is still and a lot when it is moving. Obviously time is always the problem, so I can relate to having issues playtesting and balancing.

I was disappointed to reach the end; would definitely play a longer version! :)
At first, I had a bug at first where the instructions were out of sync with what I'd just done, I may have done something too soon/before I was told, which made the instructions tell me to do something I just did and it took me a while to figure out what I was meant to do to advance.
I also found the 'The enemy has gone to regroup!' message was repeated every time. Not sure if you're aware of that one :)
All in all: Ore-some! (ok I'll take myself out :D)
The message about the enemy regrouping shows up three times.
I wish the turret had a wider angle, because enemies often move into its blind spot and damage my platform.

On the other hand, the game doesn't overstay it's welcome I guess, but it does have more than 1 gameplay element, so it looks like it could drag the time some more (mining+movement and turret shooter). At least 3 turret segments sound fair :D
I would assume you ran out of time after implementing these, so you couldn't add more playtime.
Интересная задумка. Из минусов:
- очень всё быстро происходит, между игровыми механиками (добыча ресурсов, защита платформы) нет никакой паузы, хотелось бы чуть помедленнее
- апгрейды производятся прямо во время игры, наводиться надо мышкой, которая одновременно управляет и главным героем. Лучше бы сделать что-то типа магазина, где можно было б спокойно потратить валюту.
А в остальном - классно сделано, довольно живо. Может получиться неплохая игрушка ^_^
