Its so simple but its cool. I wish the archers had a spine cause they do nothing if chased

I'm starting to see a strategy where you back away your lower health units but keep them close so that the DPS is maintained. This reminds me a lot of a similar mental state when playing Starcraft. Nice mechanics

I like it. It's simple but fun. The creatures and animations are cute. There was one bug I found. My creatures all died but then I used the key to open one of the paddocks and defeated all the enemies. But the game over icon wouldn't disappear even on the next level. ![Screenshot 2024-10-08 203553.png](///raw/c20/7/z/680ab.png) But otherwise I had no issues.

Well done! And congratulations on making your second entry.

Happy to play it again once you've fixed the bug. Just @ me.

I think this is a really good idea and liked the feature of picking which allies to release every round. If sound and special effects were added and art improved this would be a really good game

Love how simple and cute it looks! It could help maybe showing where the enemies would spawn so it's easier to do a strategy.

A cool game and a good idea, and the animation of the archers is just great.

I like being able to pick up and drop my units. I'm not sure it's a bug, but i struggled to open the cages with the keys? They would often seem to not do anything (tried clicking them, dragging them to the locks, to the cages, i droped my unit on them... didn't seem to do anything, and then all of a sudden the cage would be opened?).
Cute graphics overall, congrats on your submission ;)

Cool little strategy game! Maybe a weird thing to focus on but I really liked the look of the health indicators!

A really simple fun game! Like @magopian I too couldn't ever get the keys to open the door. I was playing in the browser if that helps you diagnose the issue. Love the art style for this.

Not bad, I enjoyed it! Nice little animations. Being able to move your units is a unique twist.

Like someone else said, the main strategy is just to keep dragging your archers slightly out of range of enemies so that they're in the perfect range to shoot and not get hit like stutter stepping in Starcraft. I also ran into the issues with keys not working consistently, was only able to get two cages open the whole game. I did have fun playing it though, nice job!

Nice game, liked the animations and the little creature design. I think gameplay lacks a bit of strategy, and also it was hard to get the archers to actually shoot. Maybe some visual indicators could help. I do like the simple autobattler idea where you just drag units.

The colors and unique designs work really well in distinguishing the characters, and the gameplay feels different. I think it should say 'start' instead of 'next level' at the beginning, it confused me a bit. I also like how character placement plays a big role in combat. It's a fun little game! Well done!

Really enjoyed that, would be cool with some upgrading/progression element if it was developed further

Nice rts game. Took couple seconds to realize what I'm supposed to do until I notice that my army could fight back. I could complete most stages fine until the final stage in which I did silly thing to win and survive.
