Hi, and welcome to our game, Tiny Little Terrors! I initially created a test version of the game and showed it to a friend/college for feedback on the art and UI—since that's not really my area of expertise. He loved the mockup so much that he offered to create the artwork for me, with the condition that I enter the game in the jam instead of the compo.

Since I had slightly (okay, maybe a lot) overscoped the project, I quickly agreed. He whipped up all the art in just two evenings, and I handled everything else to make it come to life. Even though I did most of the development work, I think he deserves some credit for his contribution—so here’s a shoutout to him! (Thanks, @studioRightside!)

Cool game. The graphic style is great. First I wasn't quite sure what effect the individual moves will have. I played twice and failed each time just before the end :( But I will try it again until I finally reach the end ;D

This is a neat game! Love the rogue-like elements, the music banged and served the vibe well, and the visuals were quite appealing as well. Honestly this game reminded me of Cobalt Core in some very fun ways, but still feels unique enough to stand on its own! The positional element of the game was simple and easy to understand, and lends itself to interesting encounters. Well done!

Cool deck builder, the variability on the maps is really well done for the short time frame, and it keeps things feeling fresh, and I love the art assets! Great work!

@radjax The random map builde took some of my previous time indeed. I underestimated the scope I did still super happy with the end result.
I’ll have a go at your game soon.

The game is very clean!
Beautiful, fun to play. The concept is well thought out, with a map à la slay the spire and combat with choice of squares, it's a really good idea.
Can't wait to see what happens next!

Well done!

This is awesome and so well polished. I like the unique take on the board and there is a good amount of strategy. I really love card games and this is a very interesting take on the genre. Well done and great job!

Awesome game! Super polished and a really neat gameplay idea. I was a little confused initially as to how it was working and what the different iconography meant but once everything clicked it was great. V impressed! Well done team!!

Love it, nice little tactic game. Would be really cool to be able to play it against another player. Love the graphics and the soundtrack, they fit really well. Have you thought about a variant, where the player has to first play all 4 cards until getting new ones?

I enjoyed playing a lot! It looks very clean and intuitive. It's very easy to understand what's going on. It's interesting trying to plan out your actions with the cards/upcoming tiles you have, though sometimes it feels like the rng makes it a bit tough on the player (but it might also be a lack of skill on my part!). With a bit more possibilities for upgrade of your "deck" I can see a lot more depth to the gameplay. Great entry! ( and bonus points for being playqble on the phone :) )

Hehe really fun, I like the combination of card battler and board game and the strategy of going round the board investing in stats. The lines on the board sometimes blend together when the furthest lanes cross to each other and I'll realize the middle lane I thought would connect to the path actually doesn't so that's really my only gripe. The art and music is really good too : )

Really unique combat mechanic. Loved the graphics and sfx. I can see this game being expanded into something really big, it's interesting and you can definitely build on top of it. I wish there was an easier way to protect yourself though, but that's the only feedback I have.

@roitchie Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed the unique twist and the strategy behind it (took me while to get it "Right"). As a fellow card game fan, it’s great to hear that you found this take on the genre interesting! I really appreciate your feedback, thanks again for playing!
I'll check out your game today.

@manamat Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the card mechanic, I had some more ideas with it but no time . The random map took me a little to much time. Really appreciate your feedback, and I’m happy you had fun playing!

@james-poole Thank you so much! I’m really glad you found the gameplay idea interesting. I totally get the initial confusion with the iconography, I'll keep that in mind for future updates to make things clearer. Once again, thanks for the kind words, and I’ll pass your compliments on to the team (artist)!
Going to check out your game now you hear from me soon!

@mar-zockmeister Thanks for the feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed the game! I love the idea of adding a multiplayer mode; if only i knew how that all works. 😊 Ill give my friend the good news you liked his art.

I appreciate your suggestion about having players play all four cards before getting new ones; that could definitely add a strategic twist! I wanted abilities for the cards, like having the four-card give a +2 attack boost when landed on a sword. That’s what the (walk blue marker) was intended for! I’d love to explore these ideas further, but in a jam, it’s hard to know how far we can push it. Thanks again for your support!

@judith-hantisse Thanks for the feedback! I completely agree that more upgrade options for the deck would add depth to the gameplay. I initially envisioned a system where players could enhance their cards with unique abilities, like on 1 card: Careful approach is you land on a shield ad X to your shield.I will definitely consider this for future updates! Also having a deck so the RNG is less an isseu.

@shreemp Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game mechanics. Yes, I struggled with the random map, the lanes not crossing was harder then i initially thought. I’m happy to hear you liked the art (i'll pass the complement to the artist)and music! Thanks again for playing!

I understand your concern about finding easier ways to protect yourself, and I’ll definitely consider that for future updates. Your feedback is invaluable, thanks for playing!
