Cheese It! is a physics-driven single-screen arcade action game where you need to nab as much cheese without getting caught by your brainwashed friends.

Update: If you are having issues with playing the game with fullscreen, please try the fixed version. This includes other bug fixes such as fixing cheese collider issues and adding some SFX and music.

Game Instructions:

  • Nab cheese to chuck into holes
  • Chuck cheese to knock out bad mice
  • Score KO points to earn fancy cheese
  • Fancy cheese has different effects

Controls:

  • Arrow keys - move
  • X/Z - chuck cheese

Tools:

  • Unity (engine)
  • OFL (font)

Hey! I'd love to try this, but it auto-fullscreens and on my ultrawide you can't see the entire screen. Windowed mode might help, if that's possible.

@drinkycode It works! I got 250oz, 15 KOs. There didn't seem to be control over which way the cheese went, but that seems intentional since you can still play it reasonably despite that. It's nigh impossible to stand on the cheese button long enough during the late game. I did enjoy the increasing difficulty, tho.

Cute game! I really love the art and the movement feels good. I also liked the difficulty ramp, I didn't get a lot of oz but knocking enemies was fun

I liked that you could use the collected cheese for defence, and that its weight would slow you... Really cool game!

Cool game, kinda sad that there wasn't a "reset" for spawning a other batch of cheese into the map. I just pick all of them and then my gameplay was just escaping enemies. The art is really neat with this mix of 2D and 3D.
Maybe a little explanation on what the special cheese do is welcomed. (I actually don't quite understand when i was using them)

Woah! What an interesting game! The 2d/3d perspective here is absolutely enchanting, not to mention the beautiful sprites and models. Very fun and frantic running around and discovering the special cheese abilities. There might be one or two mechanics I missed - but really enjoyed my time with this gorgeous game. Well done!

There is a lot to like about this game. The use of the theme and the visuals are great. I like the challenge of avoiding the other mice while trying to collect. My one complaint is that tossing the cheese felt really random, as far as I could tell it did not matter where my (computer) mouse was or which way my (character) mouse was moving. That made it kinda difficult to actually toss it at the other mice. Aside from that I had a lot of fun with this game, great job!

Love the mix of 2D assets with 3D. We tried something similar with our game. Just love that style. The game is also a lot of fun. Great job!
