Alright, listen up! In smolBIZNASS, you play as Jack Pot — yeah, that's right, Jack Pot. You thought taking out a "micro" loan from MICRO CREDIT was a smart move? Guess again! MICRO CREDIT is run by tiny businessmen with a huge attitude. Now you’re hiding in some closet-sized bunker, desperately trying to work off your debt. But surprise! These smol businessmen are coming to take back what’s theirs, and they don’t care how small the loan was. Your keyboard? Gone. Your coffee mug? History. They’ll strip your life down piece by tiny piece until you repay every last cent. It’s absurd, chaotic, and ridiculous — so get ready for the most stressful (and hilarious) collection process of your life!

Key Features:

  • An absurd, fast-paced, and hilarious debt collection experience.
  • Tiny businessmen with big business energy taking your stuff one micro-step at a time.
  • Frantic gameplay that makes you question your life decisions.

Made by: CO5MONAUT — the one and only. Seriously, I did it all.

I thought this game was really funny. I'm not sure if getting 5+5=10/ten is supposed to be wrong. The overall mood/humor is outstanding for a gamejam game. At first I was thinking it had nothing to do with the theme, but I was wrong, and had a lot of fun snatching stuff from the little guys.

One thing: audio cue at the end when you win turned out to be way too loud/unpleasant.

Thank you! Glad you liked it!
In the beginning I wanted to make a game about penis-stealing gnomes (but I wasn't sure if that had a place on LD, and I also couldn't find a suitable gnome asset), but over time the game has been transformed ahahh
Yeah, with algebraic examples, the answers have to be entered in words.
The sound was done at the last minute so it came out unkempt, apologies >﹏<

I would have loved to play the game, but sadly it doesn't run on linux via wine. Would a linux export be possible?

I really liked the game, I admit that at first I had trouble understanding the principle but in the end I had a good time. Well done !

@pschichtel I probably don’t have the right libraries or the knowledge to do this quickly, and unfortunately, I don’t have the time to dive into it right now. Sorry about that!(ノへ ̄、)

@captainzo Thanks! I’m glad you were able to figure it out in the end. I often run into that issue with my games—I’m not the best at explaining how to play :)

Funny game, too bas that the gameplay too bad the gameplay doesn't let you appreciate the presence of tiny businessmen since your focus on your screen. But the concept of tiny businessman taking your furnitures is very funny and i would love to see a game about tiny people and normal sized people living together, I hope you'll make something of this idea.

Okay this is damn PHENOMENAL. Definitely the best few minutes of my day, the experience hits *just right*, frantically looking around looking how much stuff is left every time the computer is thinking of a new question. Most importantly, so much STYLE, from the little guys to that loud-ass ending. I'm a big fan.

Really fun game! I never thought about making a game with such a high level of humor, but this one nails it. The execution is top-notch. Of course, it could use some quality-of-life improvements, but for a game jam entry, it looks awesome and the gameplay concept is really cool. I enjoyed it a lot.

Holy crapola, this is so funny. :D

One aspect of a game that I especially enjoy is that you can either help the little guy by throwing your stuff into the door or to slow them down (although I'm not sure how effective it is in the long run) by taking the stuff back.

These little distractions make the core gameplay less repetitive. Otherwise, it would be a quite boring experience. But as a whole, it works alright. I think your gameplay video was intentionally more funny than many playthroughs would be, but it shows that this game can be enjoyed in some other ways (if you try to create a funny scene out of it).

The graphics are cool, but UE is such a heavy artillery for a jam, it really puts my laptop under a pressure.

A funny little game idea, and I had fun trying it. Was sadly never able read the dialog, because I was in the middle of getting my stuff back. But overall a good jam game. Well done.

Loved the chaotic vibe! Tiny businessmen stealing your stuff is hilarious. The visuals were great, but the ending sound was a bit loud. Gj!

I don't understand what is the result of 4-4, if not zero. "Nought" also didn't work :) It worked for me on linux after doing `winetricks vcrun2022` and also installing the unreal libraries from the popup when starting the game. But the performance was poor and there were some graphic bugs, so i encourage you to export to linux, unreal surely can do that.

Certainly one of the most innovative games this jam, I like it so much. I think that the quick way to make the player interact more with the room would be to place multiple computers, and only one would display a riddle at the time. At first it's hard to figure out what to do, especially when you get tricky questions on on the computer at first, it'd be great if the first questions were somewhat preprogrammed and featured some kind of tutorial tips. I like the small guys running around the room and the fact that you can interrupt their process of taking out your belongings. Just wish there was more incentive to do that, because when playing for a longer time, you tend to just sit by the monitor and answer questions as quickly as possible.

Certainly one of the most innovative games on this jam (and one of the most original I have ever played on any jam), great work! Will surely check out your future releases :)
