This game is so atmospheric! The art was gorgeous and the NPCs fit into their world perfectly. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, or it doesn't exist, but I couldn't find any beer to pour on the venus fly trap(?) :(

Fantastic game! 🎮 I really enjoyed the variety of locations; they kept me on my toes and interested in exploring! 🌍 The atmosphere is so immersive and the illustrations are just gorgeous! 🎨 Overall, a polished experience that I really enjoyed! Great job! 👍

Really nice mood and atmosphere. I like that you just arrive and you don't really know what's going on in the beginning. A good mystery! It took me a long time to see the spiders so first I just thought I died randomly. A bit more variety in the gameplay wouldn't hurt, but overall I really enjoyed it!

This is a great little entry. A little rough around the edges when it comes to fighting the...spiders i think they are? But the graphics and mood are excellent. Really short, but you can't really knock a game jam game for that. Nice work!

an interesting concept, fighting is little hard, I was afraid most of the time to fight and went into hiding, good thing we don't have to restart from the beginning when we die. One improvement I would suggest is to pause the game when reading notes, as I got killed many times because of that.

I think it was pretty cool that you had an auto-save system with the tasks you performed. I died before I could get to the healer and was worried I was going to have to reset but thankfully you thought of that. Additionally, the atmosphere was really well built. Congrats!

By the way... how are you enjoying Godot?

You have effectively established a dark fantasy world through the artwork and audio effects! The combat system is challenging to learn, but once I found the rhythm, it became incredibly fun and gave me a real sense of accomplishment. That said, I think it could be a bit more forgiving—making it just a little easier could help make it more accessible to a broader audience.

The character design is epic, and at times I felt like this game deserved to be on Steam—it's really well done! The only downside is that the game feels a bit short. I wish there were more secrets or hidden content to explore, but I can't ask for much more from a game jam project that's already this impressive.

Fantastic job overall, and I can't wait to see what you do next!

Lovecraftian vibes are always a plus for me! This game is very short and simple, but has a deep atmosphere (the fisherman is just awesome, I love him). I wish this game was a little longer!

p.s. I don't know why, but this took SO long to load that I was almost ready to give up on trying.

Incredible work! Very complete and polished, I found it quite difficult to try to step on the enemies xD. But the art and atmosphere is very well done, great entry!

Cute game, I really liked it! The art was really great, and I liked the decision to keep the soundscape quiet and not have music. The attack was tough to get the hang of, I don't think I ended up killing a single spider. I honestly don't think it was entirely necessary, I felt like the appeal of the game was in the atmosphere and the interactions. I think spreading some of the quests out a bit and giving the player a few more opportunities to explore and be lost would help immerse them in the mood, but I know making and balancing a big map in a jam game is super tough! Really nice job!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, conveyed through art, slight sound and combat system design.
The locations were all really good as well, and polish shone through every aspect of the game.

While I do have certain gripes, they are mostly from personal style / subjective reasons, so there is nothing to report. It all worked flawlessly.

Absolutely amazing entry, great to see another atmopsheric game! (although, in mine, due to overscoping I completely overlooked gameplay :skull: )

A cool unusual take on the theme, love the lovecraftian vibe! Overall polish is crazy for a period of time this short, everything feels really well put together! It would be pretty boring to just walk from point A to point B, but a spider is actually a pretty clever way to bring in some tension. Good job!

I have a soft spot for mysterious and Lovecraft inspired games so this one was really appealing. I really like the feeling and the pixel art of your game. For me either killing spiders wasn't really intuitive and became frustrating really fast. Instakill felt a bit unfair especially as there didn't seem to be much of a punishment. I think this could be improved to a longer game too. Great work :)

Overall great submission. I wish the objectives (eg necronomicon) didn't appear once you learned about them. I kind of wish all the pieces were there ahead of time and the NPCs would hint the solution to you rather than being explicit milestones you need to complete.

The sound design was quite good! Especially inside the church!

The atmosphere is neat! The progress saves is neat, the game is pretty and it sounds nice. Not sure about the theme though, I see what you mean but... Also, I wish I could go into fullscreen! Nonetheless, great job!
