Good balance, but gameplay could use some more depth.
Attack patterns, boss attacks changing after losing certain amount of health etc.
Also, your attacks look very unconvincing - spear actually thrown and hit the boss would look much better.

Embedded version did not work for me (hanged after the load bar completed), but itch version worked. Maybe leave only itch version?

Reminds me of Callum VS Kai

This was fun. I was determined to beat it so I played until I won. I liked the simple graphics, but I didn't get any audio so haven't rated that. The attacks were signaled nicely, and they always seemed fair so the were no impossible situations. Good stuff :8ball:

Cool idea! Maybe there should be some bonus to attack if both teams are alive, since now it is far easier to just focus on one team and leave the other one. Another thing of improvement would be to allow teams to change direction mid running, since sometimes saving team is super hard. Anyway, nice game, well done!

I really liked the concept here. Obviously hard to expand on things in a game jam, but I feel like some more mechanics would really make this one shine. It could be super fun to have as a couch co-op game as well. Great work.

- The design of the golem looked quite nice
- The game requires a tricky amount of coordination, which I think is good, but it's a bit too easy to simply let one side die and follow through with the other. I'd like it better if you lost when either side died.
- The telegraphing for the fist slamming down and a boulder dropping are a bit too similar, IMO, especially since both fists can occasionally slam down at the same time
- Could use some sound/music
