The Reaper's Daily Routine by Aelius

[raw]
made by Aelius for LD33 (COMPO)
Help the reaper on his daily quest.

Identify people with the help of deathbook© and send them to the other side.
Don't pick the wrong person!

Controls:
Arrow Keys - Move (you need stairs to move vertically)
a - Scythe Swing

The game turned out darker than I wanted. The silence only makes things worse.

Edit: If the WebGL version doesn't react to key Input try making it fullscreen (blue Button on the right under the game). If you have problems with performance try out the Windows version (the WebGL build option in Unity is unfinished). Theoretically you can run the WebGL build in Opera and Safari even if you get that error message, Chrome should have no problems (except if you have little RAM - it's chrome after all -) and FireFox blocks older GPUs (to still play it go to about:config and set webgl.force-enabled to true - still slow but whatevs -). Don't let the long WebGL loading time scare you off, as long as you see the loading icon left of the title of the tab in the browser it's loading (except if you get some kind of JavaScript error alert).

I posted the Spritesheet with all Sprites i used on opengameart.org und CC0 (public domain). Check out the link below if you're interested.

Been playing unity games on Here all day, But yours doesn't work properly for me. None of the controls work, and when it asks for 'any key' only mouse buttons(all of them) make it react. :(

Cool game concept, having death use deathbed to identify the target! Well done!

Like the concept. Really enjoyed the art. I couldn't play the web version. It loaded up all the way and then just sat there. Probably an issue with me (or browser - Chrome), but thought I'd mention anyway. Playing the windows build, the deathbook was halfway off the screen. If I pressed alt-Enter to go to window mode and then pressed it again to go back to full, it moved to the correct spot. Great job.

Web version - controls do not work on for me on Mac. Is there a Mac downloadable version? Twitter @carelesslabs if you can a solution so I can vote. Thanks

Personal idea, both gameplay and the way you used the theme.

Short and sweet. Too bad there's no sound :( Movement speed could be faster, too.

Nice graphics!

It's fun to play the death! The guess system is good, although the game is a little slow
