The Seal Cave by bacontree

You're a seal and you hang out in a cave with other seals. Roll around and galumph through the cave. Cuddle your friends and enjoy the atmosphere!
Controls:
W, A, S, D: Move
Space: Galumph (Jump forward)
Q, E: Roll
F: Cuddle
I spent way too much time on the graphics and animations, so I didn't have enough time to do any proper gameplay, so it's more of a tech demo, or an enjoy the atmosphere kind of game. It's using the newest version of Unreal Engine (5.5).
Everything in the game was made during the jam.

@winter2277 Thank you! The cave is made out of two meshes. I made base shapes in blender, and then brought them in to Substance Designer where I created procedural textures, and displacement maps that I applied to a heavily subdivided version of the base mesh. The meshes uses an insane amount of polygons, but nanite just handles it and makes it run smoothly. Quite incredible what they've achieved with nanite really! The ground meshes are scattered on a landscape using the PCG (procedural content generation) system. The wall meshes I placed by hand in the editor. The seal was sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance Designer and rigged and animated in Blender.
@bombelix Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it! That was actually what I was aiming for. Scary and cute. :D
Nice Game!
