Oh no! The wicked government has built a road right in the middle of your slug farm :(
Get your slugs to the other side of the roads without them being squished!!!!
Slug Sprooch is a fun arcade game where you throw some slugs (and other animals) and hope they get to the other side!!
Manage your animal stack, defend it from predators and launch your way to victory!!!
To play, drap and drop the animals from the pen to the launch area at the right time, and catch the predators.
Slug Sprooch and all its assets were made by a team of 7 people during the jam, using Godot, Krita and https://www.beepbox.co/

Although there were some issues with the controls and I felt like I didn't always know what to do, once I figured it out it was a lot more fun! 🐌💨

I enjoyed it, was a nice take on the Frogger ish styled mechanic, it was quite satisfying flinging over the slugs - I did not quite understand the predator mechanic however, did not notice any slugs being eaten and for me it mostly became just another piece I simply flung over to get some points after domesticating them.
I also really loved how when something died, they turned into an explosiony fire sprite, which was hilarious to imagine these little Slugs just exploding on contact XD
You game does not become boring, good job!

Very fun, the frogs are too good, they probably had some experience/trauma from Frogger
I got through all five levels. Music is a bop and the smiling slug decal kills me
Music was fun too, a seemsless loop would have been a bit better ;)
Keep up the good work, this is a prime example of a game jam game!
1. As you can probably tell based on my profile picture, I have a certain affinity for those that distrust the government.
2. I love Frogger.
3. I also enjoy sportsball games where a gauge is necessary to hit the ball further (ex. PGA Tour).
This game combines all three. I have no further comments beyond the perennial "Well done..."
EDIT: Ok, there is one thing: sometimes I can't pick up critters, and was unable to do so for 30+ seconds.
I think interaction sounds could add much to this.

Not really sure why you guys were ranked so relatively low, but let me tell you, your game is awesome and one of my favourites this jam as I wrote before!
