Taste Tour -- A Wonderful Adventure of a Tiny Little Toast by ShallowKong
About the wonderful adventure of a tiny little toast that gets eaten by a magic flower. :smirk_cat: Team Member: 凤梨(Map Design & Movie Art),Cuphead Ocha(CG,UI&Art), 玛莲妮亚(Bread &Boss Design), Kong (Coding&Unity)

In this game, you play as a mischievous little slice of bread who accidentally gets swallowed by a terrifying, giant, and magical flower deep in the forest.:scream: Now, the adventure begins! :spy: Help our brave bread hero navigate through various traps and escape from the dreadful insides of the magic flower! The game features 3 levels—Levels 1 and 2 are fast-paced platform runs, while Level 3 is an epic bullet-hell boss fight.

Controls: Use A :arrowleft: and D :arrowright: to move left and right, and press Space to jump (you can double jump, and each time you touch a platform, you'll get an extra jump). Hold Left Shift to sprint.
Level 1: Watch out! Stomach acid is rising fast, so don’t get caught! :sob:

In Level 3, you’ll face the flower’s core. Hang in there! Once the acid floods the glowing core, you’ll finally escape! :v:

We hope you can enjoy our game!

We attach the zip file here. Double Click the .exe to play the game! :firework: Feel free to try our game and leave your valuable suggestions! :heartbeat:
We also used the HTML5 feature to upload my game, but in my opinion, it feels a bit laggy (Maybe because of my lack of experience in Ludum Dare QAQ). For Example, We made about a 30s animation in the beginning of the game (after you click the start button). You can see the animation normally in the .exe, but cannot see the animation in the Embed HTML5. You have to wait for about 30s and then Level 1 will begin automatically. So for a better experience, we recommend downloading the ZIP file directly!
This is our first time working together as a team to complete a game for the Ludum Dare Game Jam. Some of us are even experiencing Unity and game development for the first time, so there are many shortcomings and flaws in the game. Therefore, we genuinely hope to receive your feedback and suggestions, as they are crucial for our improvement.
We sincerely thank each and every one of you for playing and providing us with your valuable insights! :hearts:

What I love most is the rotate animation in the beginning animation, which excellently, and also simply revealed the "twisted" effect of black magic. Understand that he music could only be chosen from public libraries, but personally I believe it would be great to apply OST from "MADE IN ABYSS" here. Great appreciation (both meaning) for your efforts. Noticed that it's your first project so looking forward to future innovations and master pieces!

Good Game!
The first and second level remind me of i wanna which I played when I was in primary school.
The boss fight is somewhat like Touhou Projects so I am very familiar with it. So for me the boss fight could be the easiest().
The game's art is stunning! The visual design is beautifully crafted.
Find several bugs (=^・ω・^=) but you can make use of it ()
The music often said "trendy beats dot com" which took me out of the immersion a little. I would suggest pages like pixabay for music (make sure to check the licences)
Also I do like the variety of obstacles and the art!
The mechanics are simple but very effective. I loved the art style, and the animations are fluid enough to understand what's going on, even if they can be a little fast.
The range of the “lasso” plants was perhaps a little too big, especially on the second level, a plant lying on the ground just in front of a door, I tried several times to get past it without getting hit but couldn't, maybe because you rescaled it without taking the collision box into account (but maybe also just a skill problem 😅).
But overall I really enjoyed it! Very good work!
I like the graphics and the animations. The game would need a little more polish to be a very good entry, but you guys already did a good job!
