Its very difficult to control the character( and it does not jump from platform's sides.
But i like main character's animation!

the movement doesn't feel that well and the game it's difficult, I really liked the programmer art tho

Nice entry. Cute little characters. I liked the challenging platforming and the fact you could "climb" platform ledges.

Having camera not show what is below makes it hard to make decisions to move.

EDIT: Didn't hear any audio but you have not opted out of it. Was the sounds or music?

Dunno why, but this game causes me ctrange feelings, ha-ha. Anyway, nice entry!

Nice take on the theme, not sure I've figured everything but there is indeed a special feeling here with dialogs and intent ^^ I collected all the fruits still the catterpillar didn't care about me I was confused XD Then tried the SERIOUS BUTTON but didn't understand what was going on.... then restarted after reading your comments and finally found the tiny creatures final form ^^ Nice story idea, weird gameplay and design but cute message in the end.
Controls were a bit funky so that makes it both a little hard and fun to playwith.
Don't be sorry for lake of experience that's a good start! few things in my mind in case it might help a little:
maybe controls feels odd because it seems the player has a round shape (seems legit btw)
also as mentioned the camera keeping player on bottom makes gameplay a little hard but that's part of the fun :)

I like the idea of using the round body to have momentum against the platform edges like a spinning tire trying to climb up, makes the spikes more challenging hehe. Didn't understand what the other papers with words was for though as I got to the part that says The End that seems to not use the other hints. Here is a tiny photo of them.
