Really cool concept! Loved the drawing mechanic, kind of remininded me of Okami :)
The visuals are nice, it was easy to play and understand what to do and overall it was a cool experience!
Good job :)

The art style was really cool and super unique, but the gameplay just didn't work for me, it was very unclear and I'm not sure if the mechanics even work like the fire and ice forms. Maybe for the next jam, plan a section for bug fixing.

very pretty game, I found it quite difficult to remember the shapes you can use to cast spells when there are enemies around, you should add some visual reminder for them on screen (especially if you plan on giving a lot of them in a short amount of time)

apart from that, my only complaint is that the audio was super loud during fights

Overall, good job !

Loved the art and music. It was a fantastic touch making the music change with the forms you take, always like dynamic music and it's neat to see it pulled off in a game jam. Unfortunately, the game felt quite unstable; found rooms unloading at times until I retraced back and then returned. I was also getting caught on collision frequently, and found my run ended with me attached to a wall.

Thank you all for your feedbacks!
@cameron-dunlap @pandalk @breaddysticks There is still clearly a lot of annoying bugs, but we already spent around 1 extra day for one person to fix enough bugs just make sure that it was possible to reach the end of the game. So we're not sure how fair it would be to spend even more time fixing more stuff...

I really liked this - the art and music are especially great. I really liked the spellcasting with the house, was really satisfying when I got quite quick at sending fireballs all over the place. The only thing I felt like the shape detection maybe could been a bit less strict. If I drew one side too long for the fireball for example it didn't seem to register but that's the kind of thing that's hard to detect in a jam so it's not a big deal really. The rest felt quite well balanced, combat was tough but not too tough. Well done to the whole team!

Great art style, and I loved the cutscene at the end (a very nice reward for beating the game!) I agree with some of the other comments that casting spells felt a bit finicky at times, but overall it wasn't too much of a problem. It would have been cool if there were more spell related puzzles, because the game introduces all these cool spells, but then you don't get much time to explore different ways in which they can be used. I'm sure that was the plan, but time always runs short. Great art, fun music, cool idea!
