Billy has been oppressed by the aristocratic class his whole life. One day, Billy discovers his unique ability to communicate with goblins. He is pleased to learn of the goblins' indifference towards the ruling class. In fact, they don't seem to be interested in much at all - other than coin. Billy succeeds in robbing a wealthy landowner of their life savings. With wealth in hand, and revenge in mind, Billy strikes a bargain with his new allies.

What a cool idea! I found the Q/E cycling a bit unpredictable at times and wanted for a mouse interface, but it was really cool using cheap little guys to lure guards away from my strongest goblins!

This is fun, the last 2 levels were very challanging haha. Art is very clean and charming! The only thing I wish is for the camera to move faster when switching between spawn locations. Otherwise it's an great entry! Good job!

Great idea, original concept, and it's also very beautiful and fun to play. Excellent work! ;)
Unfortunately for me, I have an AZERTY keyboard, so it's not easy to find and press the right key quickly and easily ^^'

Very nice game! Saw the game with similar summon mechanic earlier, but nevetherless it was fun to play! Liked different goblins with their abilities. The only thing that catched my ear is repeating sounds when goblins spawn. Thank you!

Interesting game, it's a bit awkward to switch to the right bushes(?), it would be more convenient to switch to them with the mouse
really like the game visuals!

The game is really fun, great job! I was surprised how well balanced it felt to me, being able finish the levels on the first try but with little to money left, always on the edge wondering if I'll actually make it - perfect for the jam. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of volume controls as the music was quite loud.

Beautiful art! Really thorough and complete looking for a 3 day jam. Puzzles were nice and challening.

I accidentally skipped to a level at the start thinking the numbers were maybe for pages on a tutorial screen. Might be good to group the SKIP text closer to the numbers.

I love the dynamic movement in the OST. Not sure if the drum layer was meant to kick in at level 3, but it happened for me and it was cool as.

Would love a little more variation in sound design (say a few different goblin spawn sounds) just to keep the sounds from feeling too spammy.

Overall, loved it. Great work!

We actually did something really similar (Helldivers/DDR-like summoning sequences) if you'd like to have a look at ours via my profile.

@lachlan-james

Thanks for your feedback. I randomised some of the sounds and should have done the same for goblin spawns - the samples for which were fixed to the goblin type. So if they were spammed it does sound a bit silly. You're right that the music is meant to progress in each level to become more dramatic - glad you enjoyed it.

Will definitely check out your game!
