It's just that well, you need to somehow to extend the gameplay time, right?\r<br\/>\r<br\/>It does make me not really reading the text and select randomly. When I originally tested I only played it on Chrome, what a mistake! Did you play on Firefox? The actual behavior should be the auto scrolls start from where you are and go to the new choices... I'll be looking on to it!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>@Geckoo1337 Oh yes, in fact the Ink scripting language was developed to turn one of those adventure books into a game! Slightly time consuming, but when done well, it's not that much of a problem, and that's the case here. ^^\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Generally, I enjoyed the writing here, and the story worked pretty well (as well as the meaningful choices). One thing I find understandable in Compo timeframe, but still noticeable, is that some paths were cut short; e.g. I don't think there's much you can do outside the shield (except for dying from radiation).\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Also, I'd really like to have some sort of restart button after completing the game. One thing I'd suggest would be to add breaks in the text, with just a "Continue" option, making sure it doesn't flow beyond the screen.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>What's presented of the world and story is pretty good. The pacing feels a bit rushed, and lacks focus, though. The scenes don't connect much to one another, and the story keeps jumping around with no breathing time. \r<br\/>\r<br\/>I guess that was a necessary sacrifice to get the full plot in within the deadlines, and I do appreciate that we actually got a full story from start to finish.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Was a nice experience. This time I made a text adventure! I've been wanting to do one for some time, but never really made one. When they announced the theme Ancient Technology, I wanting to create an adventure\/exploration game, with an air of mystery to the objects found, but I knew I wouldn't be able to do that graphically, I'm a programmer and my graphics skill are hardly my best. But as I also play a lot of table top RPGs, I decided to make a text game that could evoke more of the player imagination.\r\n\r\nThis game is a very simple one, and although the quality of writing doesn't keep up until the end, I hope you can have fun reading\/playing this little journey. This project had many ups and downs, but I will discuss this later in my Post Mortem, which I should write after one or two weeks, after I gathered some feedback.\r\n\r\nAs always, please leave a comment so I can check your game too!\r\n\r\nCongratulations to all!\r\n*************************************************************************\/\r\n\r\nAnnouncements:\r\n* (08\/28) I don't know how to make the embedded browser in itch.io stretch to the whole page. I will work on that. Also if I find that the font size and spacing isn't very comfortable, I'll change it ASAP!\r\n* (09\/06) Added two recommended BGM, added Firefox bug\r\n* (09\/06) Firefox bug crushed\r\n* (09\/08) Embedded URL was wrong, fixed","title":"Brigit Fall"}
