Incorporeal by rrsmtz
Story
You did it! You successfully completed the ritual to extract your spirit from your body.
Unfortunately, your body died soon afterward. :ghost: Now you can only go outside at night.
Your studies have taught you it's possible to create a new body, but you don't know how. All you know is that the process is extremely dangerous, and it involves something called a Golem? Venture into the woods at night to find the ingredients you need, then experiment with different ingredient combinations to summon demons who might help guide you in the process. And above all, don't lose your soul.
How to play
Crafting Phase
In the Crafting Phase, drag materials onto each other to combine them. If they can be combined, they will glow green, otherwise they'll glow red. Be creative!
Explore Phase
In the Explore Phase, click to move. Clicking on materials you find like rocks, water, and ferns will add them to your inventory, and you can use them in Crafting Phase. What you find will change each night, so be on the lookout for super rare items.
:loudspeaker: note: if you die, you can restart and still have all of your crafted materials! This is an unintentional bug that we think actually makes it more fun to try again.

Nice game. I'm glad there was a skip mechanic for the wait time for day/night. Really kept the game moving.
I like the idea of the two phases, I wanted to make a game like that myself before (feast on villagers during the night, build a fortress during the day) but ran out of time before even half was done. Implementing both of them and making them interlinked in the way they were was really engaging. I'm glad there was a time limit just because otherwise I would've spent way too long outside exploring, but then also not sure it added anything to the crafting section.
I enjoyed my playthrough, but after I lost I didn't want to do all of that again to have another attempt, so stopped there.

Impressive amount combination system and interesting story.
Sound could use a little work, but other than that, this game almost feels close to being a market ready small game.
Good job! :)
The crafting is engaging and combined with having to go outside to get the items plus getting tips from the characters on what to do next makes for a really good loop.
The story and mood were on point as well, and that final text was a badass way to finish the game in my opinion. I almost stopped playing after creating the blood demon thinking that it was the ending, but I'm glad I didn't.
Very great :sunglasses:
