Groovy music and a beautiful art style! Gameplay was quite simple but definitely has potential to be expanded.

Found a bug where you are still able to deliver orders after you have been fired but that didn't take away from the game itself (was more like a funny Easter egg).

Great Job!

Goofy game, I liked the art. I was fired :(

Solid, simple entry! Once you know the runes its a bit monotonous, but increasing the order speed helped. Adding extra words once you're comfortable would be a good little twist. Overall, good work!

very cute! I couldn't tell about the fries as it looked like a salt shaker. i feel like a spooky bartender tho, but my bartender prefers to memorize the summon words instead of take english translation notes T.T i guess having the = ? be demystified after first usage would ruin the immersion. i def get brain fog remembering but i'ts nice typing practice.

Thanks all for playing! There is no win condition unfortunately, so you'll get fired or I guess "resign" by quitting the game

Great simple submission! After first couple of tries once you figured out what words are paired it just becomes a question of how fast you can type and how fast your brain works in terms of connecting food with those words on the fly. I got to 44

Probably having more different words and different foods will make it more interesting with having to guess the names later on in the game as well.

@vidim888 My idea was to have vegetarian, chicken and beef burgers, soda, diet coke and regular coke  But ofc I was out of time. Gj with 44, the most I've heard is 71!

@liole Thanks for playing! That'd be my poor pixel art skills  Glad you liked it!

@byazzle Thanks for playing! I was thinking each day you'd get 15-20 orders, and new words so it'd be harder to remember them all. But I was out of time :clock:

@mmayans Thanks for playing  Don't be sad, there is no other way to end the game :eyes:

@meepster Thanks for playing. You can keep summoning, but don't expect to get paid :eye: :nose: :eye:

Fun little typing game! A little too simple as I was able to keep up with the orders no problem. I reached 150 and stopped there as it didn't seem to go any quicker.

The game is pretty simple, perhaps a bit _too_ simple? But I think it's fine! The art style and audio is very solid, with nice music, too! I like it! The only problem in my opinion is the gameplay feels a bit too shallow.

But overall, this is a very solid and good submission! Also summoning food is cool and new.

These typing games are always fun. New words and perhaps even combinations would have been a cool addition. Alas, time for compo is very tight.

Good work!

From short-order chef, to short-order summoner, I like it. More variety might've been nice, but also more variety might've been too complicated to memorize and deliver orders at the same time. Music sets the mood well as one frantically summons orders. Good work!

I got about 60 or so and then someone talked to me IRL and got confused and lost the flow state. Not sure if there is a target score or if it's just endless.

Interesting mechanic though! I like typing games

@altaf-creator Thanks a lot for playing! Ofc I couldn't manage scope to have "type" words in game (like chicken, beef, vegetarian for burger). But glad you liked the game!

@burnedkirby Thank you very much and thanks for playing

@magnusfurcifer RIP that run! But very good score. It's a high-score kind of game so there is no win condition. Thanks for playing!

Good concept, however I feel like it gets repetitive a bit too quickly.

Hiding the words after I've successfully summoned an item using it feels like the game is restricting me unnecessarily. I feel similarly with the "uus" required with each summon also.

Overall, a solid basis for a game, just needs a little more polish.

It's a fun premise, I think part of the fun for me was figuring out what the runes meant so it might have been nice for more runes to be introduced as you go along or have the runes change to other things so that stage of the gameplay isn't sort of out of the way quite quickly.

Clean little game! As others said, it quickly became repetitive, and adding a little twist (like having to summon multiple things in the same sentence?) would have been cool. Great work!
